Hi all,
What is the best thing to make aerials for vehicles and how do you attach them? I have found that anything I try is too thick to look realistic or too weak and breaks.
Any advice would be most helpful.
Al.

I have used a variety of antennae for micro armor: black thread painted gun=metal. But what I have been using now are tooth brush bristles. I cut the tooth brush bristles and have them drop into a clear plastic box (identical to another micro armor manufacturer) and when I have 50 or 100 or so in the box, I then get a black marker with flat head and smear that around and around so all the bristles are black. I leave the bristles/antennea in the box until needed.
On the figure I use a safety pin to push a small hole where one is desired(usually the figures are already painted). I usually will work on 5-20 or so vehicles at a time for antennea, so I will make a puddle of glue and then get an antenne and dip it in the glue and then place it in the hole holding it with tweezers for a few moments.
I sometime unforunately make my hole too large around. That is my current method.
Hope that helps.
