Recon Units in WWII Micro Armour: The Game

My question is this: Of what use are infantry Recon units in WWII Micro Armour: The Game? In Special Weapons, 10.7 mentions better cohesion but the units themselves are weak. And none are shown for Germany. :(

Want some feedback because I'm creating more infantry bases and have to decide if I'll should save the binocular men for recon units or use for hdqtrs. :roll:

Please refer to Section 10.0 Special Weapons, case 7. Recon Stands special characteristic is described there.

I made up my own German Recon Inf values because an Infantry stand won't 'fit' in a SdKfz 250 unit as written.

here are my values:
recon Inf '43-45
Cost = 10
APf/HEf = 0/3
APr/HEr = 1/5
def = **6
Move = 4F
Trans Req = 4

These fast platoons make excellent FO's but they are lightly armed, with no real LMG's or Anti-Tank ability to speak of.

Other than whats on page 14, you're right there's not much about them in the rules.
