Some Painting/Hobby Room ideas

Post by WWIICentral »

Hi All,

It's been about a year and a half since my last post (formerly as "Intobattle") here on the GHQ Forum. Lately I've found some renewed interest in Microarmor so I wanted to touch base and say hello.

I think many of us like GHQ miniatures not only because of their extreme detail, but also because of their space saving benefits. This is especially true for me; real estate is at a premium at my home and I have to fight for it. I recently renovated my painting room and wanted to share the results with you. You can read more about it and see some photos on my blog:

I hope to hang around for awhile and contribute here on the forum a bit more in the future :D

Hey Tanner, nice to hear from you again and an awesome work place you have there! But.... it is too clean :P Send us a pictures again after some serious work when paint is spilled all around. I like those pictures more, hehe.
Btw, I always thought you were using enamels...

Looking forward to see your painted miniatures.
Good luck,
Patrick

Hi WWIICentral/intobattle ! :D

Happy you be back !

It's renovated time for me too in my GHQ workbench. I have begining these work since few weeks. Lot of work, (joinery work, new workbench, new book case, electricity and new spot lights,...) so, less time to paint GHQ miniatures and ending bigs 1/285 Vietnam Riverine projects :(
But, I think the result would be good. I had taken many pictures of the work in progress, I will post some of them shortly when all work will be finish...

As Gompel said, I'm curious to see the same work place after full scratchbuilding, and painting jobs !
Sometime, when I see my workbench with full of GHQ miniatures in work in progress, it frightened me to see the big disorder !!!

Nice!

I'm trying to figure out how to take your picture, blow it up life sized and then mount it right inside the door to my hobby room. That way, my wife won't think I'm in there painting all the time.

Hey Guys, it's nice to be back. It's even nicer to see that you all are still contributing here! Not that I think you'd leave but it's great to have such quality guys to chat with.
