Posting to look for gamers is a reasonable idea. I credit my return to micro-armor wargaming, after more than 8 years without an opponent, to folks I met on this forum.

That said, I rather strongly suggest against posting your email addy in an open forum such as this. Far better to suggest folks contact you through the forum's IM function, or if you do want to post your email, do it with text filling in for the symbology. Such as:

markoneATchokemewithspamDOTcom

Otherwise even the best filtered email will get choked by the 20,000 spams you'll get per day.

Sorry pal, even though I´m desperately looking for 1:285-gamers in Germany too, your location in the deepest bavaria is way too far away from my hometown in NRW...

BTW, how do you like Germany?

*The* German forum about historical miniature wargaming - and a good chance to find other gamers - is the Sweetwater-Forum: http://www.sweetwater-forum.de/

It is generally a forum in German language, but you can post in English, too, nobody will complain.

Good luck finding opponents!

(Me, I'm too far north for both of you unfortunately.)
