Did the Italian army have a 4person car during W W II?

Post by RedLeif »

I've found models (1/35th I think) of 'staff cars' like the Lancia 'Aprila Colonial' and the Alfa (romeo?) 'Colonial'. But they are not 'jeeps'. Just wondering if they had something like a jeep - roughly. The TL 37 (8 pas.) light truck looks about as close to a 'jeep' as I can find.

thanks

The Fiat 508 C.M. is about as jeepy as it gets. More like a kubelwagen I think.

Tactics are the opinion of the senior officer present.

Thanks Cav Dog.
I found that sight about 10 minutes after I posted my question.

Thanks again

Note that the Fiat 508 C.M. was a 4x2 like the Kubelwagen and not a 4x4 like the jeep.
It was the military version of the Fiat 1100 better known as "Balilla".,
