Since there have been several postings about post-Cold War ships, I thought I would provide this listing of all the ships of this era that have received votes in the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List. Note that this is a one-time deal; unless there are exceptional circumstances I will not update this posting or provide other similar postings such as “all WWII ships†or “all Japanese ships.†If anyone is interested in the status of specific ships or groups, you are welcome to send me a pm.
Remember, if you want to add your vote(s) to the total, you must specify specific ships/classes. I do not add votes for requests such as “all post-Cold War ships.â€

Naval Carrier Deck Decals
Hi Don, again, thanx for this thread. I figure it's time for my periodic request for some WWII Naval Carrier Deck decals. I should start numbering these but I can't remember now how many times I've requested them, he he. Here goes my 2012 version. Something about the carrier models in particular that just doesn't seem complete without a way to reproduce those carrier deck markings which are so distinctive between ships, and an integral part of their flight operations. In this small scale (and at my age I might add) they are extremely hard, if not impossible to duplicate. It's why mine are all still in the blister packs. I just can't bring myself to assemble them if they are going to have a half as--- finish on them. So PLEEEEEAAAASE make some decals available for us. If not from you guys, maybe a link to someone else that makes some "QUALITY" decals...I94 was making some noise about maybe producing some, but I havn't seen any yet and the stuff out there now just isn't up to your standards or mine. Thank you.
I'm extremely excited to see the USS Langley on the list for upcoming models...such an important ship for Naval history, can't wait!!

Re: Naval Carrier Deck Decals
If someone has some accurate artwork I believe Microscale Decals might be convinced there is enough of an interest to start making them. I don't have anything like a good, accurate set of artwork to send them but someone on here has to be able to generate them. I'm not sure how many different sets there would have to be but given the level of interest, just here on this forum alone, we have to able to convince them they can make a good ROI. Thoughts?intruder523 wrote:Hi Don, again, thanx for this thread. I figure it's time for my periodic request for some WWII Naval Carrier Deck decals.
