Late response on my part - but, it looks like your recent injury is having little impact on the quality (and maybe the quantity) of your work!

She's right - lay off of the "factory" for a while. If they did the surgery right, you could be nearly 100% IF you follow the recovery rules!

Here is the "Dole" tanker !! this was a battle the tanker is a GHQ 9200 gal a much older run I sanded off the ribs where the decal was going to be placed as I wanted a nice smooth surface
Then the top and bottom of both halfs were sanded down to get a good tight fit, same was done for the bulkhead front and rear, then bondo was applied to fill the gaps and sanded.
The tractor is a GHQ peterbuilt of the newer run only problem is(if it is a problem)the rear wheels are so fine there is no "meat" to whole them on to the chassie and the chassie is longer, note that there is NO room from the rear of the truck to the landing gear on the tanker !!!!

Was going ot cut off the fifth wheele but that would put it way to close to the end of the truck frame, other then that it came out ok.

MMMM,Let's see ???? oh ok First I want to thank the lovely lady I spoke ot at GHQ yesterday for helping, but it seems the morden tanker is no more !!!!!!! which is to bad as the dole tanker was the last one I had and it and the tractor sold for a record price !( and I have people waiting for more of them)
why did it sell so high because the folks at GHQ make the best dam white metal kits around !! that's why !!!

in a few days I'll be posting some pictures on a "BASH" I'm doing not going to say so you'lll have to come to the thread to see what I'm up to !!

Will be at the Hobby Show this weekend and handing out GHQ infor on there military models and also displaying my "WMK',so everyone have a good week and I'll be psoting soon !!

Sorry for not posting,The "Boy" was to home on 3/1/13 but we heard from him and he volunteered to go out one more time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! neeedless to say the wife is upset and I'm both worried and very proud that he took my place but he did more then his time.
Once I get my wits about and my GHQ order gets here I'll get back to building, just not into it right now he told us he will be home this spring?

So,Life goes on and time will pass, and it passes faster when you BUILD !!!!!!!!!!!!!
as I await my GHQ order I'm doing so custom request.
This was a fun build ! not done but done enough for a look-see this is what I call "Old School GHQ" the lowboy is when it was made with lots of parts !! all the rear axles came in the kit off the frame which I think was great, because then I can really trick them out as in paint the air bags and frame two colors.
HAAA yes the load !!! didn't want to build this kit but this set will not go cheap The GHQ front end loader!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God this kit just fell in place and Following GHQ, I drilled out the holes and used some wire to trick it out more, I think it does so much more for this kit.Enjoy the pictures and if anyone as any questions fire away.
L

I'm really happy with the black paint, sort of look's "badass" you know i a trucking sort of way! Still need to add all the detail parts, windows and stuff.
