I don't like the one-a-day process; I'd prefer to wait and get the whole list at once. I suppose I'm the sort of person who doesn't shake the Christmas presents or try to open a corner of the wrapping before the big day.

Having said this; I'm hooked now.

We've had a modern Microarmor and a WWII Microarmor announced. From recent postings, it seems the Churchill crocodile will be very popular.

I'm hoping that tomorrow GHQ will announce a Micronaut release.

Another popular release, but I also am hoping for a 1/2400 tomorrow.

Actually, my only problem with it is wanting to see more of the new releases sooner.
So waiting for the entire list to be posted before looking would be counter-productive to say the least.
Hoping to see some long-missing WW2 land "bread and butter" items this year...

Well, I guess my scratch built LAV III will need to go back to te re-work facility to return to their original purpose: Stryker CAV or Stryker MGS and use the LAV 25 turrets some where else.

I look forward to the LAV III, makes sense with the Canadian vehicles released.

Mybe were will have the Canadians fight the Aussies....

(Following my sources, in January 1945 in an "Assault Regiment RAC", a Churchill crocodile "troop" had 4 croco and one Churchill ARV with field crane. A flame squadron had four "croco" "troop", one HQ "troop" with four Churchill HQ and one Churchill ARV, three halftrack, about 16 flame-tank Chevy truck, 9 bedford QLD, one Jeep, two "dingo" armored car, one Bren carrier, one Thornycroft truck, ...
There was two flame squadron ("B" and "C" squadrons), one Flail squadron ("A" squadron, Sherman "Flail") and one HQ squadron (trucks and staff) in Assault Regiment.

Well I'm really excited to see the Churchill Crocodile!

For a start it proves that all the speculation and wishlists are actually worth something and that GHQ is listening! The Churchill was head and shoulders the most requested item in the threads and across all the WWII, W47 and modern lines there wasn't really much consensus on many other models - sorry guys but we land animals are so poorly organised compared to the Micronaut boys that we don't give GHQ much help in selecting models.

Secondly, it is such a cool peace of kit, needing special rules and special tactics. While the Churchill tank wasn't fantastic, the 'funnies' developed from it present such a wide range of gaming scenarios that they are irrestistible! (Hint, Hint)

Thirdly, it's British!

Agree with the above.

Not even a WWII player but Churchill is an excellent idea.

Also LAVIII makes collection of Canadian forces more viable. I was using LAV25s for my Canadian augmentation company.

I'll be interested to see how the Crocodile is packaged. If it's a trailer pack (I doubt it) I'll buy them. If it's 3 Churchill 7's with fuel trailers, I won't be. I have a very nice Croc squadron already (19 vehicles) with GHQ Churchills and old H&R trailers. Nice clean castings (don't know what they look like now), good scale, and on a base look fine. To replace them would simply cost too much and leave me with 19 useless Churchills.
I might make a purchase of 19 trailers as 'spares'; even at $2 each it's the same as a pack of 5 trailers. Wait and see, I guess.

Wait a minute....

If you actually make the Churchill Crocodile, what are we going to do to fill the gap caused by the loss of 45 posts a week clamoring for thins thing.

I mean it has become such a cause celebre that it might tear the very fabric of the universe.

No, no. A much better idea would be to scrap that one and make another something in the modern micronaut range.

Perhaps we could have a pack of politicians for the modern micronaut range. Looks like that might be a better match for any Navy than a pirate boat at 1/2400 scale! Certainly done more damage to ours than anyone since WWII!

You bet we are listening! We get thousands of requests every year, and we read through all of them. Almost all of our new releases have always come from customer suggestions. It's not a popularity contest with the items that get the most requests automatically getting picked. If that were the case then our new release lists would be way out of proportion and too heavy on some categories like WWII German and Modern US. We try to take in all of the requests, and then spread them around so that a lot of the categories get covered and more people get something in their area of interest. That's why we ask that when you send in a list of requests, you pick 1-5 things that you REALLY want, and then write a couple of sentences about why it would be a good new release, and a good fit in with the rest of our models. Occasionally some people send us a list of 100, 200, 300, or even 1000 items on it, and no explanations of why they would be good new releases. Unfortunately there is nothing that we can do with these types of lists that are basically lists of everything that we don't make. The lists that are just a few items that have really compelling reasons about why an item would be a good new release are the ones that get the most attention.

We appreciate all of the suggestions that you send in to us, and we hope that the above information helps you put together the most effective suggestions for new releases.
