Thanks, you just reminded me of when I used a hexadecimal editor and hacked my copy of "Autoduel" (Car Wars) for the Commodore 64. I made my "Killer Rabbit" using a VW chassis with 2 inches of armor in the back and mounting a rear facing 75mm cannon. It went about 140 mph. In that game you had to line up for the shot so if you were behind me you did all my work. On the bright side I never lost a tire by driving through the wreckage of my opponent
. Ahhhhhh, those were the days.

Here are a few pics. Firstly the game book itself (Deluxe version of course), some of the ADQ issues and a couple of scenario modules.

Next some of the models and tokens. Metal models in the middle, a few of the card vehicles behind them and some markers on the road in front. At the back there's a turn/drift template and a few more card vehicles still on the sheet. There's a GHQ PzIIIJ in there for scale. Note that 30 years ago I was still painting everything with Humbrol enamels and one cheap brush.

Finally an unopened box of vehicles to show the manufacturer, Citadel.

I wonder if GHQ has spares for the N-Scale Sherman and M-3 Halftrack? You know, Ma Duce and company...?
