Thanks for all for your kind words.
Paul,
I am learning what I am happy with. Its taken me a little bit figure that out. What i do know, as long as I don't look through a macro lens, I am really happy with my current skill level. I also know that I will improve.
As for relocation, it may happen next year. There is chance of moving too Charleston but nothing is firm at the moment...
Cama,
I will definetly take your advise and do a wash over the vehicles. Seal with clear coat...decals..then wash...then dull coat.

Hoth902,
When you get out East let us know. Several of us live in Florida and game periodically. Would enjoy having you game with us one time. Also in July, Historicon takes place in Virginia and it is massive.
Regards,
Paul

Paul,
When I get back east, I will definetly let you know.. Also thanks for the offer, hopefully I can take you up on it in the near future. Till then, I will work on building my army.
As for hisorcon, I am hoping to make it there this year even if I am not permanently back east. Will let you know if I make it.

Argentinian TAM Tank
I put together 5 TAM tanks tonight. These are the medium tanks used by the Argentinian Army. The vehicle is based on the Marder APC with a turret that is based on the Leopard 1A4.
To make these I used GHW Marders (N41) and turrets from GHQ Leopard 1A4s (N72). In reality the turret on the TAM has a slightly different shape to the back half of the turret, but the standard GHQ Leopard 1A4 is close enough in my opinion.

Thought I'd post some shots of a Normandy battle I started earlier this year whilst trying out some new rules I was writing.
It's for the battle of Epsom, where 15th Scottish Infantry Division attacked with 2 Brigades of Infantry with lots of tank and arty support.
I've uploaded pictures to photobucket (not the best photo hoster I admit) and created a 'Story' for it so lets see how this link works and what it shows:

The rules are getting there.
I've got a problem with tracking ammo usage as I want to model the fact that stands can't just blat away all day without a thought on re-supplying at some time.
I was using an ammo marker at BnHQ for each turn any stand in the Bn fired, but it doesn't really model the fact that some stands fire a lot and some don't. So I'll have a think over Christmas (and a few beers) and see what pops in to my head.
I might also want to simplify some things to speed things up. FFOT3 is in that vein but some things in FFOT3 are a bit too simplified for me.
If I ever finish them I may post them somewhere but I'd also have to remove some bits in case it compromises copyright, eg the FFOT3 anti-tank values I use, although I don't directly copy them.
I've also seen that others are making rules similar to the ones I'm making, eg Operation Dauntless rules for a new boardgame are similar in scale and turn time but use different AT and Infantry combat rules.
