GHQ, I know I am but one drop in an ocean of water and am fully aware of the slave a company must be to the supply and demand curve.... But would it be possible to make vehicle baggage for your vehicles.....spare tires, tank road wheels, extra treads, backpacks, rolled up canvas....you get the idea. Nothing looks cooler than an overloaded tank rolling down the road into combat. Your calvalry STRYKER look awesome with the extras on them. Being able to add stuff makes it possible to make vehicles look different. Can't be the only one out there that thinks about it or would buy them.

I thought I had seen some AAVP-7s with stowage on them? I suppose it must have been scratch built?!Hoth_902 wrote:GHQ, I know I am but one drop in an ocean of water and am fully aware of the slave a company must be to the supply and demand curve.... I agree, AMV is a prime candidate for a model. I think it's in service in decent numbers with about half a dozen countries now.chrisswim wrote:High priority...
Patria AMV, Provide different turret options.
Really looking forward to the AMV.
I also agree with having multiple turret options - at least two should be included IMHO: Hitfist turret as per the Polish version, and then the (Denel?) turret on the South African version too.

WWI infantry, tanks and guns. The stuff available from the other companies leaves a lot to be desired. At the very least, just the WWI tanks would be awesome. Can you imagine what GHQ would do if they were to model the A7V or the MkIV female/male tanks?

Hoth, bis, Ben,
One idea that GHQ (Gregory and Channing) showed me at Historicon a few years ago is using clay to make bags hanging off the vehicle, use for trap/baggage on top of turret or hull.
.
roll clay into thin roll, cut with knife, then pinch one end, which is where the duffel bag is hanging from it pull rope. Look at their USMC Combat Command, as I recall on the LVTP-7A1.

chrisswim,
I have actually thought about doing something similar however, time is not a luxury that I am in excess of. I have barely enough time to paint my growing collection of unpainted vehicles.
I would love to get into doing my own modifications that I have seen on this site. I have some ideas popping around in my head, but not time to try them. In addition, I have very little in the way of tools.. I tried to sand off the stowed canvas top on a German half track, so I could install the deployed canvas tarp. After slowly shaving with an Exacto knife and a sanding stick, I had flash back of Shaw Shank redemption and put it down for a later date. That was over 3 years ago. Its life and we all live it.
My hope is that GHQ could make some generic packs that could be used across the board on a lot of different vehicles. Nothing crazy, but just a few things. I even thought about buying the WWII Half track accessories (US54 ) and see if there was something useful out of that.

RedLief is entirely correct. PerfectSix makes some fine scenic castings for a wide variety of periods, all of which I've found useful. Their size complements GHQ's line very well and the owner of the company is almost as friendly as his GHQ counterparts. It's a good company with good products.
Also, for Ben above, GHQ already makes slung accessories. Check out this:

It's designed to go on the back of a WWII U.S. half track but I've gotten some to use on some Strykers and Bradleys. Give it a look!
