Wow, they look so nice, very well designed and manufactured. Job well done.
The FMTV Material Handler looks like the long wheel base, is that your impression?
Hopefully we shall see the Dardo from Italy,
Patria AMV on the release calendar.
Then Japanese modern AFV, perhaps.

US107 Gun Trailer
Are the M2s installed incorrectly? The shield appears to be behind the direction of fire.
I feel more like I do now than I did when I got here :}

Re: US107 Gun Trailer
You are correct, they installed them incorrectly for the photo. The model should be fine though.Bruce Morris wrote:Are the M2s installed incorrectly? The shield appears to be behind the direction of fire.

M102 Prime Mover
The M102 does look great, but is the HMMWV the best selection for prime mover?
Certainly doesn't work for Vietnam.

Yes...they all look soooooo good for sure.cama wrote:I have the Peugeot P4, Ariete, Freccia, and Centauro painted already. A few more pieces and I send them back to GHQ for photographs. Plus a few others. One of which doesn't have a code :p yet. It's going to be highly popular among many gamers - US, Canadian... Very useful model. But I'll save the surprise for GHQ.
They really are gorgeous - the Centauro is my favourite among this grouping for some reason,
All we need now to go with the Canadian line is how the Leopard 2A4 looks now...with those side armour plates...so cool.
I know there's the 2A6 with the slats on the side...meh...the 2A4 looks more impressive.

True, but it definitely works for the late 1980's through the early 2000'sRedDragon wrote:The M102 does look great, but is the HMMWV the best selection for prime mover?

M102 Prime Mover
I know these things take a long time to be fully phased in and out, but isn't the late 80's when the M-119 was being introduced? Not knowing this subject matter well, I would extrapolate that the M102 was "Front-Line" deployed by the US in a mostly pre-HMMWV era. Please correct me if I am mistaken to extrapolate so.33YearsGHQ wrote:True, but it definitely works for the late 1980's through the early 2000'sRedDragon wrote:The M102 does look great, but is the HMMWV the best selection for prime mover?

Re: M102 Prime Mover
The M102 was still in use in Iraq in 2004 - though I think it was with a National Guard unit. It is still used by a handful of National Guard units today. The M119 become plentiful in the early 90's and did replace the M102's fairly quickly in Airborne and light infantry units.RedDragon wrote:I know these things take a long time to be fully phased in and out, but isn't the late 80's when the M-119 was being introduced?
