I already mentioned what I'd be interested in modern wise, but I definitely agree that some modern refugees with a news crew would be of interest and useful to all post-45 eras.
WW2 wise, I'd be really interested in some development of the German 21st Panzer Range - they had excellent and unique vehicles, and the only reason I don't have a 6mm 21st Panzer army is because I can't get all the options yet.

For those of you asking for news crews, a two-man news crew crouching together holding a camera on a shoulder looks remarkably like a dismounted anti-tank team to a tanker trying to make split-second decisions about danger levels. The inclination to shoot first and deal with repercussions later is understandable, no matter what the news folks like to say about it.
All blessings flow from a good mission statement.

For the past few years I, and several other folks, have suggested engineers whenever the annual list conversation has come around.
I've been thinking on this. I know it's always hard to prioritize so many suggestions, an unlimited set of what folks say they want, vs. the limited resources for producing new masters/castings. In the end GHQ must ask how profitable a new pack is likely to be, both from the number of buyers to the cost of production.
I think that engineering packs could be done fairly economically. Much like the artillery crew packs. Here's my idea ...
One sprue of engineers in construction poses. Two with shovels, two with picks, two kneeling down with hammer, one or two carrying a non-descript pole/board/stick. With field caps, side-caps and bare heads. Shirts/tunics can be un-tucked, sleeves rolled up, even some figures stripped to the waste. These same sprues can go in any nation's engineering pack.
One sprue of engineers in combat poses. A figure with a flame thrower, two poses with mine detectors, two poses prone or kneeling with mine-probes or bayonets, two poses with demo charges. These would have the same poses but different kit per nationality. Helmets, flame throwers, mine detectors, demo charges (1 with generic satchel charge, 1 with a nation-specific demo device like bangalore torp for US/British, or magnetic AT mine for German).
Put something like 2 or 3 of each sprue into a pack, add one sprue of riflemen from that nation's individual infantry pack, and you're ready to go. To have four new products: US, British, German and Soviet engineers, you need to master 2 unique sprues, and 3 modified sprues with identical poses but different heads and equipment details.
Anyway, just some ideas. Sure would like to see some engineering sets ...

Engineers would certainly be an interesting addition to the different lists! If anything they would be able to add some extra character to each army.
I was also thinking (a terrible thing, I know) that some other Italian equipment would be good. The SIDAM quad 25mm is a unique piece, and the OF-40 tank and Palmaria SPG are also very exciting, unique builds. The Palmaria has also had some recent attention thanks to the Libyan conflict, so there has been use of this quite regularly during this time period.
Some Czech equipment would be exciting as well, like the OT-810, the M59/59 Praga AA gun, the DANA 152mm cannon and the RM-70 MLRS.
Brazilian equipment would also be of interest, the ASTROS MLRS has seen regular use through the Middle East and is now used by the Indonesian army as well, and the EE-T-1 Osoria was an exciting tank design *that never got anywhere*, and the EE-3 Jararaca is a nice design used by the Greeks.

Several things are needed:
Engineering figures for U.S. & Russian Army. Each of these could do double duty for other armies as well.
Horse cavalry figures! Several of the GHQ scenarios call for horse cavalry units such as the South African forces. In addition, horse cavalry is still used in several irregular armies. Afghan forces mounted a cavalry campaign when the U.S. intervened as recounted in "The Horse Soldiers." Janjaweed forces in Darfur also employ cavalry in their operations.
HMMWV's with LRASS.
M1200's - These are the same hull as the currently offered M1117 with a different turret. Like the M60A2 all that is needed is a new turret. Every U.S. Army brigade and some battalions have several of these in their OOB's.
CAESAR 155mm SP Howitzers for the French Army. TRF-1 howitzers would also be nice.

How about just making M60A2 turrets available for purchase? GHQ's competitor sells M60A3 turrets so folks can convert their A1s. GHQ could offer the same for A2s.

I know my choices for new endeavors are not always as popular, mainly because I am looking for versions of existing vehicles, But i would love to see some alternate turrets produced.. That way they are not such a huge effort by GHQ and it would allow you to upgrade some existing vehicles or just add some variety.
I have seen some M2A2 bradleys with turrets similar to the M2A3... I would just switch out the turret but the later has reactive armor bricks. While I am on that subject, maybe some Bradley turrets with the tows in the deployed config. Should not be too hard, I have seenGHQ do much more difficult stuff. could be a two piece in stall.. I have a vision in my head how it could work. Would love to see a new Sheridan turret without the basket. Maybe even an M60A1 without the IR lamp on it. I really do like the M60 series tanks. Maybe a new turret for the Challenger I where the machine gun is not molded into the turret.. Kind of spoiled with the ones that GHQ produces separately on other vehicles.
I think an updated M1117 Gaurdian would be great. The picks on line make it look a little dated in the quality department. A M93 Fox would be cool.. I know its the same or close to the german fuchs..
Any how, that is Hoth's list of obscure production proposals.
