Summer sale ends today

Post by dragon6 »

No one has written a thing about all the glorious toys... er, military models, they are buying?

I believe this is the first time this has happened?

What did you buy?

About US$500 worth of Micronauts.
Aside from full sets of Duguay-Trouin, Kagero, Devonshire, Karlsruhe, and Hog Island type B; I increased my inventory of Aden Maru, Neosho, Butler, Landing Assault Craft, Landing Support Craft, Montrose, Buckley, Liberty Ship, and Hog Island type A.

I had to wait until Friday last to get the Hog Island type B.

The Gator State budget is still constrained by the costs of its junior citizens' post-secondary education, however, available moneys were put toward providing four battalions with mortar platoons and building up engineer units with a couple ABVs and ACES. One of my favorite vehicles, 12 M561 Gamma Goats will be distributed to H-series units.

A platoon of M60A1s was ordered to complete the first company of what will eventually be an H-series battalion in MERDC camouflage. Another will eventually be authorized for the USAREUR camo of the early '70s.

I asked my spouse for $100 to buy some new "stuff" with. Told her about the 15% discount.

All I got was a rock...

Tom, those rocks can be pretty detailed and interesting, not to mention useful. Was it a modern or WWII rock? German, Russian, British, or US? Was it the large or small one?

You know the old rule... If you don't ask, they can't say "no." Of course, the penalties may be harsh...
