Scratch built Flakpanzer I and trailers

Post by BurtWolf »

They only made 24 of these but thought it'd be an easy and fun project to modify panzerjager Is into flak panzer. I bought the panzerjager I and 20mm towed flak kits, and used the trailers and the guns from the flak kit.

I carved out the cupola on the vehicle, per photos I saw, and added collapsible platforms to the side. I took the trailers and simply made small boxes to affix to them - ammo trailers...

I did not add crews as the vehicles in my opinion are just to small. When I base them I will add them to the base

beautiful Flak panzer conversion.

Diana SP ATG conversion would be cool!
vertical sheet metal vs. a tank round = Ouch!
but a german 75mm ATG round vs. 2 inches of bolted armor (grant tank) also = ouch!

Great work! :D

Diana's would be sweet.

Some model work from around the Internet as inspiration. The Mig Jimenez work is glorious!
