Black Friday at GHQ! Save 20%!

Post by GHQ »

We have had a lot of inquiries about Black Friday at GHQ. Of course we are having a Black Friday sale! We aren't going to miss out on all of the fun. You can save 20% off of your ENTIRE ORDER that is over $100 of merchandise when you use the following discount code:

BLACKFRIDAY

Don't feel the need to stop adding things to your cart when you get to $100- stock up on things, and watch your savings grow!

Have you always thought that it would be neat to do a WWII Romanian army? Well, now is the time to turn that project into reality. Have you always liked the Great War Russian navy? Now is the perfect time to put one together.

This code activates at 12:01 EST on November 25th, 2016, and is only good for 24 hours.

For those of you who are not familiar with Black Friday- there are a few different stories about the origin of the term, but in the USA Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving, and is the unofficial kick-off of the Christmas buying season. On this day many of the retailers put up loads of "door buster" special offers that are just too good to pass up. They are always available in limited quantities (sometimes incredibly limited), and they are only available for a limited time (sometimes just a few hours). They are so good that many stores have people "camp out" in front of the store in the cold weather hours before the store opens just to get some of these incredible deals. When the store is ready to open, and the doors are unlocked, there is often a mad dash into the store with carts/trolleys crashing into each other, customers shoving each other, and fights over the last of the door busters that is left on the shelf. It's quite a scene!

We found this YouTube video of some Black Friday highlights from 2015.

We are sorry to deprive you of some of that fun, but you can always invite some mates over, go outside, lock the doors, and then at the stroke of midnight you can open the door and have a mad dash to the computer. The good news is that you won't have to fight over the last pack of M1A2 Abrams, because we will process all orders, and ship them 100% filled!

Just remember to use the BLACKFRIDAY discount code when you submit your order.

Thank you for your support,
GHQ

Thank you! I picked a good time to come back to the forum! Is this just a special offer for forum customers, or is this for other customers too?

Agh! Evil! Just after I made my THIRD order...

Well, hold onto that one for a few days, looks like I'll be emptying my wallet... AGAIN ;)

Jokes aside, perhaps a sale on a more military oriented day such as either Remembrance/ Memorial day on November 11 wouldn't go astray? As I am sure many of the participants here know of that day compared to us non-US who get a little sideswiped by US specific holiday sales?

Just a tentative thought :)

Yes - but, you picked a bad day to stop sniffing glue!

Dear chatto,

I can 100% guarantee GHQ would not do that.

Not sure how that idea would fly down in Oz but you can always pop into your local RSL and ask.

Cheers,
Mick.

Eh, maybe not on the actual day, but the day before or so? If it is worrying about veterans, don't worry, majority of us wouldn't mind a tasteful sale where, say, a bit of the profit went to a veteran charity. :)

Again, purely a thought :)

Oh don't tease us Sneaky Pete... you and I both would be fighting tooth and claw to get our hands on those Enigmas! :)

It is... QUITE THE ENIGMA that they haven't been released yet :P

*Bows as the crowd hisses and boos* You're welcome folks, I'm here all the time... every time!

Thanks to everyone who has placed orders using our Black Friday discount code! You still have about 10+ hours to get your orders in (we set the code to end a few hours past midnight for our customers who live in different time zones).

Thank you for your support,
GHQ

Sadly, my black friday order has not even posted to my credit card. :-( Hopefully I will see something by the end of the week and it arrives early the next..

When it comes to my toys, I have very little patience at all. My girlfriend has rolled her eyes, at my complaining, so much that one night I thought they almost fell out.. :(

I expect that GHQ gets snowed during their big sale days and it takes them time to get all the orders out. I can tolerate this knowing that, even if it takes more than a week, I'm going to get my order completely filled. Don't complain about your card not being charged yet. It's a lot better than some organizations that immediately bill you card and then take more than a month to deliver (if at all).

Don,
Not upset with GHQ, I am more just having fun at my own expense because of how bad the little kid cones out in me every time I await a shipment of those wonderful little toys GHQ puts out. Playing wargames as a kid with my stepfather made me dream of a day when I could buy something as neat as these little beauties....matter of fact, it's a credit to GHQ that I get this excited..
