Yes, the winner was:

Cold War Soviet Heavy Weapons- Sagger ATGM, SPG 9, SA-7/14 SAMS, RPD/RPK machine guns

We will definitely put that into our next New Release schedule. At this point the schedule is not finished, and we aren't sure exactly where it will fit in, but we will make every effrot to put it near the front. The M60A2 was a close second, and there is probably a good chance that will make it too, but we can't guarantee that.

It was great being asked for our opinions, so thanks GHQ. I'm happy with the winner (I voted for it) and look forward to seeing them. Would be great if the M60A2 makes it into production as well...

After discussion in this thread and others, it appears there is a lot more interest in the M60A2 than I thought.

Now this is the kind of election/voting that I like! Even if my choice doesn't make it I still win big time! Outstanding choice! I've been needing these types of figures for some time.

Cool, Soviet heavy weapons got my vote. So glad the veiled attempt to get stowage for WW2 models failed. A nice idea, but would have been a waste for modern fans! The heavy weapons will be awesome for regular and client state troops, bush Wars and even on technicals and for my insurgent forces.

The M60A2 is a tank I bought from another source, but GHQ's version will likely be an upgrade. Don't need too many, but I might buy a pack.

@ sudwind

If the stowage failed because it was believed to be for WWII vehicles, that is sad. Being one of those who lobbied for it, I specifically was calling for modern stowage....Many critics suggested that WWII should be used instead of GHQ creating modern stowage.....

Don't know if this will work but easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

2017-18 Vote for a new release.

My personnel choice is for the Swedish Bv206.

Over 11,000 built, used by some 37 Countries (just about all of NATO).
Seen active use all over the globe for many years.

Mick.

For a modern preference... AMV series. So many different nations use them!
Aussie infantry or 'Modern Arab Fighters' with the semi-official look and equipped with advanced weapons like RPG-29s/ AK-101's etc.

WW2 I would be keen on either further expansion of the German 21st Panzer funny tank line, or the introduction of Swedish armor into the model range.

I'm with 7.62 on this one, the Bv206 is a must.

The BV 206 would be cool if it came with various bits/parts so that a few different variants could be modeled...kit to make the BvS10 (slat armor, weapons turret ala the up-armored Hummer), or the version with Giraffe radar would be great!

I think it can’t hurt to suggest more than one new model, since GHQ seemed to select a few suggested items for new releases last time!

So....I would add
- Noth Korean Chonma-Ho tank, probably the Chonma-Ho IV would be best, but model V is also interesting.
- the Chonma-Ho chassis could also be used to model the various Chuche Po (Juchepo) SP artillery weapons
- North Korean KN-08 missile and mobile launcher http://missiledefenseadvocacy.org/alert ... the-kn-08/

We still need an updated Modern British Infantry Weapons - most of the current pack is out of service! Without this, the new British releases are a bit of a waste!

Sudwind, not sure that could be done with a basic Bv 206.
Would be nice to have a couple of versions ie APC, command/ ambulance/TOW carry etc.
However the Bv 206S (armoured version of 206) is a major change just with the body pannels and the front end.

Bv 206 & 206S both have 5 roads wheels front and back.
The Bv S10 is a bigger and heavier beast with 6 road wheels front and back.

Best if GHQ just bring one of each out over the next few years..... I am forever an optimist.

Failing that any expansion of the Swedish, N. Koran lines will work for me.

CG2, with you on the newer UK kit requirement.
