new Gneisenau model
We should have a discussion on which Gneisenau we want modeled.
The Gneisenau that participated in Operations Weserübung and Berlin or the one that was in Operation Cerberus?
I like the early version back when the ship was doing something. After Cerberus Gneisenau goes into drydock and never operates again.

Technically, part of her does - a couple of her turrets are sent to Norway...
Yes - I agree the early version would make more sense.

Re: new Gneisenau model
I agree with you. I hope GHQ has modeled the pre Cerberus model. I'd be surprised if they didn't do that.dragon6 wrote:We should have a discussion on which Gneisenau we want modeled.

Tanner I wish I could do half as well as your new "quick and easy" method.WWIICentral wrote:Yes, I am still aliveWhile I can't paint at the level I once did, I have been exploring some new methods that are quicker and easier. I hope to post a few photos in the coming days. In the mean time, here are a few photos from a few years ago that I don't think I've shared.
Welcome back and I wait with bated breath to see your new stuff

Good to see you're back here showing us your great work. Thanks very much.
It was your wonderful deck decals that started me painting micronaughts and opened up a whole new area of research and modelling,
Hope all your back problems are, if not behind you, are at least under control. Keep posting, you're an inspiration for us all.

That would make a fearsome fleet to run into (Japan runs the other way)
