Excellent stuff there Yoon! I like the addition of the crews to the vehicles and you even managed to get winter uniforms for the 88. Looks great!

I had a ton of tigers, so I decided to kit bash one of them into an ARV. It started off well, but then it got kind of sideways and I rushed through finishing it. Not exactly what I wanted but good enough. I wanted it to look dirty and grimy, like a true work horse. I have posted some actual photos from the Italian front where this single variant was used by a single heavy panzer battalion...

BurtWolf:
I second BattlerBritain's opinion on your Tiger ARV. A unique piece. Very nicely done. I think you succeeded in getting a grimy effect. Care to share your technique for getting this effect?

Thanks guys! Like I said I had planned to do a better job but after a few small set backs I went kamikaze and just pushed the stick forward. I had a great little bit of styrene for the crank wheel and when I tried to apply a thin wire and glue (for the cable) it got cobbed.
The grime was simple - first a wash of Agrax Earthshade, then drybrush, then wash on Nuln Oil, then dry brush and lastly some Vallejo dark mud splotches with a brush. Almost too grimes as you start to lose detail.
Thanks again for the feedback fellas!!

I recently completed a pack of Hetzers and M1 Abrams. The Hetzers were done using an ambush scheme and the Abrams were done in Forest Green, which is apparently how they were delivered to the US Army in Germany. The M1s were done as a B-Day gift to an old treadhead friend of mine.

Excellent work on the Hetzers and M-1s. I know you put a lot of work into them and it shows.
It is really hard to pull off good ambush camo at this scale but you have done it justice.
Thanks for the M-1s. I will try to get them onto the gaming table in the near future. A great present from a great friend.

Gentlemen, thank you for your kind remarks. Appreciated.
BurtWolf - I use brushes. Gave up on the airbrush a long time ago. The only thing I could do with the airbrush to my satisfaction was apply an overall base coat. I used a trimmed cat whisker to apply the ambush scheme dots, not a brush. I didn't pull it from my cat, found it lying on the coffee table. Just dipped an end into the paint and touched the model with the painted end. Worked pretty well, I think.
