Well 7.62 you said anything from WW2 that could fly backwards. I started painting my first CR42, and my first go at brass etched parts. Not easy to master the wing struts (see how I angled the camera away from them...). Painting later tonight hopefully in time for November entry.
Two days late, due to me not being able to get my hands on my Camera, but at least they were painted in November.
I'm still in conflict on weather to remove the chunk of metal between the landing gear. It's not really noticable from a foot away and I do seem to have a habit of accidentally breaking landing gear and rotors on 6 mm helicopters. Any feedback or suggestions are welcome.
I usually have a habit on watching documentarys on youtube while painting and building, which somewhat relate to the model or conflict I'm currently painting, so here are two of the more memorable short videos regarding the PAH-1. (You can guess which tune I can't get out of my head when picking up my PAH-1s )
Our partnership unit in Celle flew those and I got a nickel ride in one. Its funny how the other guy's stuff is always better. We were jealous of the maneuverability of the BO-105, but they were in awe of the 20mm on our Cobras.
Here is one of my PAH-1s
