Display Combo
I'd like to start a display project of all WW2 german tanks.
To do such a think I should have to purchase all the packs of german tanks, 5 tanks each. I could use the remaining 4 tanks for other projects, but to be honest I already have plenty of PzIII, PzIV and PzV, and Tigers too.
So I was thinking, what about a sort of Combat Command, with 1 tank model each?
There could be a WW2 German Display combo, a WW2 US, UK, Russian, etc...
It could also be a nice gift idea. Or for the beginners, a chance to take a look almost at all the miniatures, but without the need to buy the 5 units blisters.
What do you think?
Wish you all a happy new year

Since I overlooked Panzergators request to add to your original post instead of adding new posts I went ahead and moved my vote to my initial post. And since I was curious I did a quick count of where we were in the votes thus far. I included only those that got at least two votes (Sorry Brutzel), I may have miscounted (it's late and I did this on the spur of the moment) and/or miss-assigned votes (occasionally descriptions were...vague), other caveats and disclaimers apply. I'm just a random poster who was curious. Don't yell at GHQ or panzergator.

* In the interests of full disclosure, these are what I voted for.
** I included a more specific request for steel pot wearing, SLR & Sterling wielding Cold War British Troops.
*** Combined votes for Western client state with British Commonwealth. Apologies for any implied disrespect, I went off of weapon descriptions.
**** Like the Brits above, combined a request for resized US Vietnam war miniatures with steel pot, M60 wielding US Troops.
Hope you found this interesting, at least as far as trends seem to be going.

"German multi-turreted monster" = Neubaufahrzeuge, designated as Pz Kw V (with 7.5 cm gun) and Pz Kw VI (with 10.5 cm gun). Note that Pz Kw V and Pz Kw VI designations were later used for Panther and Tiger.
Records indicate that these vehicles were never used operationally, but were photographed in Oslo, probably for purely propaganda purposes.
Simmilar contemporary designs include the British A-1 "Independent" and the Soviet T-32.

I'd like to see some modern Australian infantry... but I will happily vouch for the British Cold War equipment as it can be used by pretty much any Commonwealth Cold War army!
So yeah, let's put a vote for that from me!
I'd also like to see the Israeli gear as that would gel nicely with South Africans as well.
Finally for infantry, some updated "Arab Spring" insurgents with advanced weapons like AK-105s/ FN-2000's/ G-36, and MG-3/ PKM/ RPG-7/ RPG-29, ATGMs and MANPADS.
Vehicle wise, a Type-59 would be a nice and simple addition... but I would also be dead keen on a Type 59 IIA - the heavily upgraded and modified Type-59 still used by the PLA today!
Secondly for vehicles, some more variants of different vehicles would be nice, or even 'upgrade packs' of turrets for things like BMP-1s, BTR-series, French armoured cars etc... as there are so many different types of vehicles with same hull but different weapon loadout!
And finally for vehicles, more utility vehicles that can be used to make technicals, maybe have some with open and larger trays, a few different looks - heck maybe even add an armoured design or two into the mix!

I propose increasing the civilian offerings. In addition to the current civilians standing around watching and going about their daily business, I would like to see additional poses modeling fleeing refugees. Also bicycle porters for Vietnam would be a nice addition.
Throw in some law enforcement and private security types and a TV newscrew or two.
Also update the decals to include 3 & 4 digit Hindu-Arabic numerals for tanks and aircraft. It is the most common system for the symbolic representation of numbers in the world.

Tactics are the opinion of the senior officer present.

I'd quite like to make a dedicated Royal Marines Force
BvS10,
Jackal,
Merlin
I guess i could live without the Landing craft or hovercraft - they might be a pretty niche request.
Also in general, engineering vehicles like Cat armoured and unarmoured bulldozers (D7?)would be a good addition.

Quartettes post has triggered me to respond. I'm building up Northern Flank / Arctic stuff, so Royal Marines and Modern Russian works for me.
