Vietnam Miniatures for Wargaming

Post by Eric Harvey »

There's a new Vietnam Wargame that has been designed by a West Point grad who bought a ton of models from GHQ for that "Axis & Allies" kind of effect in his game.

Initially his game was only going to be a hex and counter game and appeared in the Decision Games catalog, last year. However, people were so enamored with the GHQ miniatures, that this game has finally become a Kickstarter project with actual miniatures instead of counters, which you can see here https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/15 ... %20Vietnam

It is directly because of GHQ's fine models in the prototype game that convinced everyone to create the game as a miniatures wargame.

So, GHQ is having influence on the strategic wargame community these days. :D

I hope we see more of these kinds of wargames (using the miniatures).

Eric

The game looks awesome. I only wish this would have come out a year later and/or had a second production run. Sucks that gaming companies would not touch it. It looks amazing. Thanks for sharing.
