Please let us know what were supposed to paint this month!?!? We are lost without some purpose, direction and motivation. Plus were already 9 days into the month. Help lead us by getting the lead out of painting some lead.

7.62, thanks for leading the charge and everyone for the suggestions. I like seeing what everyone else is doing and how they paint em up. I know the feeling with the being snowed under, but it gives me an excuse to work on the little tanks if I cant be out in the weather doing other things.
Offering another suggestion, May is paint a platoon, a platoon of vehicles or troops, whatever. We should also maybe invite the Micronauts to play with us and paint a dingy or something.

I thought about making a yearly schedule. So far, we have had:
- November - Helicopters
- December - Artillery (excluding self-propelled guns, anti-tank, and anti-aircraft)
- January - Main Battle Tanks (I suppose this would extrapolate back to medium tanks for WWII)
Proposed so far:
- February - Soft-skins (wheeled, tracked, or half-track)
- March - Wheeled armoured vehicles (I would include armored half-tracks here)
- April - Infantry
Other categories:
- Self-propelled guns (including assault guns and SP artillery; but anti-tank and anti-aircraft vehicles separate)
- Fixed-wing aircraft
- Anti-tank weapons (including tank destroyers, etc.)
- Anti-aircraft weapons (including AA vehicles)
- Engineer vehicles and special types (e.g., Hobart's Funnies)
- Heavy tanks, light tanks, and anything else that doesn't fit in above categories.
That adds up to 12 types, one for each month. I'm not sure that this is the best arrangement, so comments and recommendations are welcome.
Although I'm a Micronaut fan, there's just no room for them in this listing. Should they replace one or more of the above categories? Should they be in a separate listing? Or just not include them in this thread?

Well I think there is a bit of a framework building here, nice to see everyones input.
Don, lets put that schedule into stone.
"So far, we have had:

I would suggest we hold it at April for now, just to keep it fresh.
That way we can adjust as time goes on if one topic becomes a hot item, new line or scale etc.
Also I am sure the new issues debate will be kicking off shortly which may show the way forward if people wish.
I for one would welcome a Micronaut Month! I've never tried one but may give it a go.
