Just too many complaining that their personal favorite didn't get picked.

For me I just hope the models fit nicely together and that solid research goes into these models. As seen by several recent releases having fit issues or outright falsehoods in design such as the British Titan fit and M577 TOC extension fantasy. Ah but in masse on a table none but the best modelers see these as issues.

Frankly, I can't afford to have too many of my requests granted. I still need to buy 50 more M103s for my battalion, PLUS support vehicles, for instance. The line item for micro armor is far below things like college tuition for my youngest and bribes for the love of my new grandson.
All blessings flow from a good mission statement.

2018-2019 New Releases
I know not all of us got what we wanted this time around but there is always next year, right.
To put a more positive spin on this, I have gotten lots of things from GHQ over at least the last 5 years and more that I was very happy to get. These items will keep me painting GHQ models for some time to come. Here are some of the things I did pick up over the last few years that I really wanted to see.
1. Panther with sideskirts.
2. Stug III with sideskirts.
3. Panzer IIIL, M, and N with sideskirts.
4. Opel Blitz Bus
5. Opel Blitz with fuel drums.
6. Israeli Soltam - totally unexpected.
7. BMP-1 revised.
8. T-62 and T-62A revised.
9. Humber LRC.
10. British AT infantry.
11. Lots of different WWII aircraft including the Ju-87B and Me-110.
There is much more of course but GHQ has provided quite a bit of good stuff in the past and I look forward to more in the future.
This year I look forward to the Marmon Herrington Mk III, Humber Mk 1, Opel Blitz with AA, Pz IA, and the tracked Rapier and M3 w, 20mm for the modern era. Not as much as some years but still something. There are also a couple WWI and WWII ships I will probably get as well.
Thanks GHQ

I just looked at the 2018/19 list of warships today. I'm a collector of WWI & WWII warships, so there's not a lot for me. I'm mildly surprised at the Italian WWI; I had rather expected the San Marco/San Giorgio class (two ships) rather than the Pisa, since they already had the WWII version. The WWI Soldati DD isn't even on my master list. (I had six other DDs on my list that that I expected would be likely future offerings.) I'd been planning on buying several early WWI British CLs from WTJ for some time, but have been putting it off for a year or more. (NEVER put off 'til tomorrow what you can put off 'til the next day. Right?) Don Sheef's comment about modifying the Active to represent seven early CLs is interesting; I'll have to look into that idea. I need five for my Jutland fleet.
The WWII Duquesne and Idaho are on my "12 most wanted," which is nice. The Argus - - - if there's a nice camo pattern for that ship I'm all for it.
AS I've written before, my interest is in painting ships, particularly those with camo patterns (OTOH, the WWI patterns are too screwy for me), and collecting fleets. Unfortunately, for the last several months I've had some health problems that have kept me away from my painting. I am one minor touch up from completing HMS Lookout in it's first admiralty pattern (I think that's what it's called), so I can complete the U.K. L/M classes (CinC models) & haven't been able to get up the energy to do it. (Actually, all I had was the stbd. side, so I copied that pattern on to the port side. Please don't tell me you have a picture of the port side; you'll break my heart!)
Donald, the third line of your four line poem seems incomplete. Could it be: "run in circles, scream and shout'?
Take Care; Mikee
