A new Yer Bouti Ambassador has finally taken his seat at the UIN.
The first two nominations had been refused visas to the USA due to military/financial sanctions (also prob under request of CofC).
Some back room deals seems to have been worked out with the UK, Balzac and the US.
This has seen the release of the "YB sovereign funds" that had been seized in London and New York.
In exchange, YB upped it's pay out to companies effected by their resent nationalization of oil and gas industry.

Military and technology sanctions remain in place but this will allow YB to return to most UIN / World affairs.
The new Yer Bouti government has once again stated it's military is completely defensive in nature and has called for closer ties with it's independent partners, Western Sahara, Mauritania and Algeria.

More updates this week.

Chief Hara, the reigning Chief of West Sahara, has reported, "West Sahara is a happy member of the Commonwealth of Chrisdom. We became a member when we were a protectorate of Mocorro, now Mocorrodom. We in West Sahara have a better life style, freedom of religion, pursue our own economic dreams. We do have responsibilities to the Commonwealth. But anything worthwhile requires responsibilities. We have tremendous benefits working together. That is why I spoke to the leadership at Mauritania about becoming a member of the Commonwealth. One benefit is help to ward off terror bad guys, specifically Al Kabab. I as Chief of West Sahara and Great Saharian Tribe am glad to work with other Commonwealth members."
.
The Gator State has once again misunderstands and wishes to misrepresent information or misquote others for their own purposes. General Rugga, "we have no ambition or desire to have a conflict with GS. I am glad they feel secure trying to hide."
Reports Madcow askes, "isn't the Gator State in the central USA area, so a sovereign country inside another sovereign country?" General Rugga replies, "you should verify with their leadership. The GS is free to talk about their state."

Resolution proposal by the Northwest Territory to the UIN.
Whereas the NDA is enforcing a blockade upon part of the Northwest Territory named the Outboard Islands,
Whereas this is an act of war and the Northwest Territory is a Peace loving country, and
Whereas this blockade is against rules of Law and of Maritime & Admiralty Law,
Therefore be it resolved that the Northern Dominian of Alberta immediately cease and desist this blockade.
Further resolved, the Northwest Territory is willing to allow passage of the waterway to the sea, permitting safe travel, allowed inspections of ships transiting the waterway, accepting the laws of the NW Territory.

This was passed by Maritime Committee of Commerce 13-7 in favor.
Submitted to the UIN General Assembly.

This is a warning to the U.I.N General Assembly, you will under ANY circumstance NOT interfere with the NDAs blockade over the Outboard Islands regardless on what the NW Territory said, as they have no such claim to those islands, ANY ships entering the area to provide aid to the islands will ether be boarded to be confiscated or risk being torpedoed, ANY aircraft entering the area for the same reason will ether be forced to land on our carriers to be confiscated, or risk being shot down. the choice is yours.

The Gator State is watching with great interest how both the CofC and UIN respond to NDAs challenge to established sovereignty. It cannot help but smile at this development. It suspects he end result will be appeasement, accommodation, and the NDA will have its way. The islands' populations will have no real day in their fate. Sounds familiar.

Knowing where Alberta is located, is Alberta land locked then or are the ships to go through a river in Katsaschewan to the east?
Northwest Territory is sending the NWT Sheriff's Assn leadership down there with a dozen sheriff deputies in their cars and in Boston Whalers.

Alberta is landlocked but the NDA has Naval bases in the Northern Portions of British Columbia for the Pacific fleet, and the Yukon for the Arctic fleet, plus a radar station in the southern part of the NWT.

The Peoples Democratic Republic of La Cucaracha has transfered the equivalent of $10,000,000 in our national currency. Please be advised that due to the current rate of inflation that it will only be worth half that by this afternoon. :)

You actually paid TEN MILLION DOLLARS to join the U.I.N!!!??? Jeez, Folks, the U.I.N shoulda paid YOU. The U.I.N. Will extract that from you anyway, as soon as it gets its tax scheme going. Prepare to be FLEECED! You should very quickly hide your gold reserves.

Greetings to Buena Vista and La Cucaracha from the ROD. Are you both on the Pacific coast? The ROD will have some ships passing through that area very soon. Perhaps we can make a port call and pay you both a visit!
