This is the NABC news center with breaking news coverage, shootout at the Outboard islands as the NDA navy's Tribal class destroyer Grimshaw was attacked by a car ferry off the coast of Johnson island, the local islands population converted the old V-class car ferry into a makeshift destoryer using old ww2 weapons of Japanese and Russian origin, the two ships exchanged fire for almost 2 hours before the Grimshaws guns holed the car ferry on her starboard side, the ferry capsized and sank, the survivors where picked up and are now in the process of interrogating them on board the HQ ship Pioneer. joining us live now is our reporter on the aftermath of this incident. "Thank you while the Grimshaw did succeed in sinking the armed car ferry she had sustained damage from the initial rocket attack and subsequent cannon fire during the 2 hour exchange, currently she is in NDANB Prince Rupert right now undergoing repairs hoping to have her return to blockade duty in 2 months. Buena Vista is on the Pacific coast. La Cucaracha is on the Caribbean.

The ROD has just wrapped up its diplomatic visit to the NDA, and we are very pleased with the opportunity to open a dialogue with them.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, a diplomatic tam from the ROD is in the city of Monaco in Monacodom for discussions on establishing an embassy there, and possibly some other cities in the Commonwealth of Chrisdom.

The ROD is making a diplomatic push right now and will be reaching out to other nations in the near future as well.

The Commonwealth of Chrisdom has an open door policy for our new international neighbor from across the globe, ROD. We welcome an Embassy in Monaco and Consultants throughout the Commonwealth as needed, trade being an important local issue.
.
Mali continues to be an issue with rebels with murders, firebombs. The French forces that have remained are working to maintain the peace. The French have lost several AIFVs, including 2 VBCI and several VABs and VBLs. The FFL is shooting back when attacked and are authorized by their government and the Mali leadership to shoot to protect citizens. Nothing has changed since Mali has become a member of the Commonwealth.

New business for the UIN Security Council:
In Mali, one of the two newest members of the Commonwealth of Chrisdom, Chinese spies have been involved to take control of several mines of Rear Earth metals. Local police chief of Timbuktu was arrested for taking a bribe of over 10,000 Euros. Several officers were arrested and politicians in the area of Timbuktu. French forces were assisted the Mali Federalias along with some MP of the Commonwealth Military.
.
Arrests have also been conducted on several Chinese national, most of which are Chinese Army (PLAN) officers, the highest rank is Colonel Ying who is believed to be the leader, along with 9 other Chinese military officers. Two adjancant houses had been rented over a year ago which is where these men were residing. An Envoy of the Chinese Embassy in Bamako was also caught in one of the houses, it is the 3rd ranking staff member, is the Economic & Trade Minister. Over 80,000 Euros were collected, some from a safe in the smaller house, where 4 resided. The French detained Envoy Sing, later it was determined that Envoy Sing has diplomatic immunity in Mali, The French did not respond immediately to Chinese inquiry. He is not singing, so he isn't answering any questions.
.
With the above information, Mali Government in Bamako and the Commonwealth would like to shut down the Chinese Embassy. Filing a complaint on the Envoy Sing violation of UIN protocols. Would like to implement sanctions on China. Furthermore, as China expands its influence in Africa, South and East China Seas(they are the only country to want to do so, not the Commonwealth), in Asia and the Pacific to gain control, this must be curtailed. China has ambitions the world over to export control, communism, terror and bribery.
.
The Chairman of the UIN Security Council, Chairman Mao, referred this to committee, which is next scheduled after school is back in session, in Sept. Sept 10 at 4:15pm is the set time for the committee to gather information on this most important issue.
,
In other news ROD has selected their home of the Embassy in Monaco, the wonderful capital of the Commonwealth.

Now that an action-packed summer is winding down, the ROD would like to revisit the idea of a Bright Star Lite exercise. This could be a chance for troops from different imagi-nations to get together for some good training and camaraderie in the field. We propose a 2-week exercise in a relatively neutral country: a range week and a wargame week.

Range week could be small arms ranges; crew-served weapons ranges; and gunnery ranges for tanks, artillery, and ATGMs. This week could also be for abbreviated airborne courses, expert infantry badge qualifications, and other training like that. Each country could be responsible for a range (or ranges) and the other participating nations would send some guys to shoot and train on a schedule. This would allow for interaction between the troops of the different countries, and they would get to shoot the other guy’s stuff.

For the wargame week there could be a series of force-on-force battles. Perhaps each battalion could swap a company with another country. Or even brigades could swap battalions if there is a big enough group.

We propose that each participating nation bring a maneuver battalion or two, a battery of artillery, and a few other companies of engineers, AT, ADA, scouts, etc. For aircraft, we could each provide a helicopter company and maybe 6-12 aircraft if we have it.

What does everyone think? We could do this in October when the weather is nice. Perhaps Saudi Arabia for a desert exercise or maybe Italy for something greener. Or maybe an Imagi-nation would like to host it (everyone comes to the ROD for the fighter rodeo, so maybe somewhere else for this). The ROD would be happy to provide staff to assist with planning and scheduling, and we can provide logistical support for the exercise as well.

Bright Star Light
If Saudi Arabia did not wish to host, the Commonwealth May be able to help. West coast of Africa for access of equipment and personnel. Can use Nouakchott, capital of Mauritania has a large port, along with Dakhla in southern area of West Sahara with some facilities. Plenty of sand here. There could be maneuvers for 300-500 miles east to west.
Another option is in Moroccodom, east to south-east of Casablanca with several hundred miles in sand, desert, hills and small mountain, flat and rocky terrain, etc. transportation can be arranged to visit Casablanca and Rabat for entertainment, gambling and the beach.

Perhaps Morrocodom would be a better option so that we wouldn't have to rely on another country to host. Very gracious of you to offer CoC! If everyone is OK with it, the ROD staff will begin collecting information and putting some options together for the exercise. We can add additional troops as they confirm their attendance!

[GM's Note: just to clarify, no micro armor will be moving for this event. We'll just be developing the storyline and posting pics of the troops]

To the UIN.
.
Libya
The Government of Libya objects strongly to the NDA. aircraft targeting, shooting and downing two of our MiG-15. They are pilots that were training, vectored to evaluate the plane identified as an S-2 Tracker. They were unable to identify the nation of this military plane. Then several attack aircraft were F/A-18, but unknown nation.
.
The two F/A-18 invaded Libyan airspace in pursuit of the MiG-15. There was not any communication or warning, nothing provoked the attack. The MiG-15s were only carrying fuel tanks under the wings. There were not ant any missiles, bombs, etc. Libya wants its two pilots returned immediately.
.
Libya proposes that NDA is to forfeit all rights of it military to enter the Mediterranean Sea. Civil shipping is welcome: tankers, freighters, cruise ships, etc.
.
Libya asks the UIN to impose sanctions on the Country of NDA, Economic, exclusion of the Mediterranean Sea, compensatory damages and punitive damages of €350,000,000. Additionally, €10,000,000 for each pilot if they are dead or die from these injuries. If each survives then €5,000,000 for each that survives plus any expense for future medical expenses.
.
Additional violation , NDA forces fired into Libya sovereign territory, allegedly to hit Al Kabab camps. However, they did hit civilian home and tents ob Bedouin. Over almost 200 civilians, women and children. There was a lady who was over 100 years old, born just after WW1 started. It is a shame that her life began during a horrible war and end in violent end because of NDA. It is tragic that NDA takes it upon their own to solve all the problems of the world when they are half way across the world. This was done without notice to the Government here in Benghazi. For the attacks on civilians, their homes and businesses, we ask for 900,000,000 Euros compensatory damages and 200,000,000 punitive damages.

The NDA has denied launching any airstrikes on Libya, those CF-18 where there to cover the fleets approach they where not carrying ground attack weapons, when the S-2 Tracker was intercepted by MiG 15 jets we tried to radio them but got no response, so we assumed it was a hostile move and have the CF-18s shoot down the MiGs in order to protect the S-2 Tracker and the fleet itself, the pilots survived being shot down and will be sent to Egypt for there flight home. We also know that the Libyan government has in the past paid and sponsored terrorist groups like Al-Kabab in order to suppress there own people.

Firing into Alergia and Libya on Al Kabab is perhaps helpful. However, firing into countries that you do not have a relationship with, communication with their government, First time their task force was in the Med, not sure where to fire upon. Destroyed two Mig-15 that were on a training mission and instructed to investigate. Various navies have ships in transit in the Med regularly, planes flying daily.

The NDA task force has since left the Med bound for the NWT to deal with a Al-Kabab group that surprisingly was formed there, once that is crushed, the NDA will resume operations but with a sense of caution to make sure this does not happen again.

UIN General Assembly meeting.
Morocco proposes that Yer Bouti be accepted as full members of the UIN with all the responsibilities and previleges. People of Bouties will more than double their land, Bouti has accepted responsibility on the world stage. They are working with other countries to solve problems, find solutions, including working with us here in Moroccodom.
Monacodo and Formosa second the proposal.
