It appears that all parties are complying with the cease-fire agreement and pulling their forces out of the 10km demilitarized zone along the Mahishmati/Eurasian Empire border. ROD Air Force F-16Cs are patrolling to the west of the DMZ and they report seeing Imperial armored units withdrawing to the east. ROD commanders are, of course, sharing this information with the Yer Bouti and PROG peacekeepers.

All Mahishmati Army units have withdrawn to the west to the city of Amaahindra. The ROD 7th Armored Brigade has withdrawn to the west as well, heading toward Amaahindra and the ROD support area. All three ROD artillery battalions are still in place, several km outside of the DMZ.

The ROD 2nd Armored Brigade has withdrawn to the agreed upon DMZ boundary. They are in compliance with the cease fire agreement, but occupying fighting positions and assembly areas. They have topped off their fuel and ammo in the event that the cease fire fails. 5th Tank is north of the river, 11th Tank and 7th Mech are south of the river. The pontoon bridge built by Mahishmati combat engineers is still in place.

At home, the carrier Vengeance and the remnants of battle groups 5, 7, and 9 have arrived in the ROD. The number of damaged ships far exceeds the dry dock capacity in the ROD, so we are prioritizing the repair work. The carrier Vengeance went straight into dry dock at the DiSCO Yard (Dalmatian Ship Building Company), as did the cruiser Shepherd. The air wing (which is actually made up of surviving aircraft from carrier air wings 1, 3, and 5) landed at Naval Station Saint Catherine. Aircraft detachments (EA-6Bs and E-2Cs) will return to their parent squadrons. The remaining aircraft will temporarily be grouped into Provisional Air Wing 1. The individual squadrons and air wings will be rebuilt as replacement aircraft and pilots become available, but this will take some time to accomplish.

The first UIN assessment groups are on the ground in Mahishmati.

Red group checks their kit after off loading at the airport following the long flight from Yer Bouti.

A big thanks to camastan for the uniforms.
The drive East to the ceasefire line will be slow and timed to arrive at the same time as the blue group from the Eurasia side.

A second aircraft has left Yer Bouti City with more personnel from the 55th Airborne Brigade and the first members of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade, including a pioneer/engineer coy.

1. I do not know if CoC will provide Peacekeepers to France.
2. Not sure if the UIN soldiers are good looking or not, are the girls/ladies coming up to talk to them? Great paint job,
3. The mustache was really to be black paint for the camo on the vest, but he sneezed.

All credit for the troops is for CAMA.
I got them off him a few years back.
They are without a doubt the best looking infantry I possess, my feeble attempts result in something more akin to Ronald McDonald on the receiving end of a paintball range.

Mech,
It would be very difficult and unwise to offer peacekeepers for the Mahishmati/Eurasian zone.
Since Canada was one of the combatants in conflict with Eurasian forces it would unlikely to be successful or safe for your troops.

I also believe you may be holding Eurasian POW's and have set their release conditional upon a payment.
This is certain to be seen as an infringement of the Geneva convention regarding hostage taking, mis treatment of POW's etc.
There is a very good chance that in the chaos of last week with so many losses by all sides that the Eurasians picked up some Canadian survivors too!
The UIN would be the best way to exchange POW unless you have a longer campaign planned.

The small numbers of peacekeepers deployed thus far are only safe as long as they are seen as neutral since they are well out gunned by all sides.
YB has flown in light 4x4, the PROG is sending heavier armoured vehicles for patrol by sea.

OK the Eurasian carriers crew will be deported back to there home country through the UIN.
though its doubtful that the Eurasian empire has any Canadian survivors since no other Eurasian ships aside from the Veres Task force has entered into the Pacific, plus we never lost a single ship in the battle though the Destoryer HMCS Haida had parts her stern blown off by a Harpoon but lucky shes survived, while the Battleship HMCS Grande Prairie suffered heavy damage in the exchange with the Cruiser Leopard both ships will take months to repair. And lastly Canada will stay out of the peace keeping mission.

Egyptian authorities boarded the PROG ships near Alexandria prior to authorizing their passage. They found large numbers of officers and troops aboard the destroyers and cruiser. All the ships had a mix of military and civilian crews, or as close to civilians as the regimented society of PROG can produce. Troops seemed underfoot at every turn despite large numbers sunning themselves on the decks. Soldiers and large numbers of boxes of supplies and ammunition hampered full access in the cramped bowels of the ships. PROG commanders handed the authorities detailed manifests. The inspection was brief and copies made of all paperwork. The Egyptian government cleared the ships and filled a request for a box of UN flags to be flown on bases along the DMZ. Ship masters were put aboard to guide the inexperienced crews through the passage. The ships are expected to clear Egyptian waters in the early morning hours and make for their destination. Egyptian authorities confirmed the presence of tanks and armored transports aboard several transports. The manifests also claimed an artillery battery and anti-aircraft vehicles.

the Canadian Government welcomes back the RODs ambassador in Ottawa today, it was in the best interest that both nations reestablish ties after the incident last month.

I wanted to take a tour of the DMZ this morning, so I hopped into my staff car and drove up to the border, being very careful not to stray into the DMZ that was being ably patrolled by peacekeepers from Yer Bouti and the PROG. I brought my FSO, Jeannette, and my RTO, Suzette, with me. We did observe some Imperial scouts on the other side of the DMZ, but there was no sign of infantry or armor in the area.

The Mahishmati Army is redeploying the Royal Armor Brigade to the area, having had an opportunity to refit and get reserve troops trained and into the units. Satellite recce indicates that the Imperial Army has indeed withdrawn from the area to lick its wounds and deal with an internal power struggle resulting from a series of losses on land and at sea.

The 7th Armored Brigade is currently moving south to the port of Paruchabutr in preparation to redeploy home. As they depart, 150 ROD trainers from the 3rd Reserve Brigade will arrive to train and advise the Mahishmati Army. The ROD 2nd Armored Brigade will remain in Mahishmati near the DMZ for the time being.

Some ROD Air Force units will be redeploying in the near future, but an ROD carrier battle group will remain in the Bay of Bengal.

Heres what Im doing now ROD, since the HMCS Grande Prairie is currently laid up for repairs, the RCN has transferred the role of flagship to her sister ship HMCS Kanata (BB-140) shes out on a trial run with the Illustrious carrier HMCS Baddeck (CV-302).

Meanwhile the Tender HMCS Hudson Bay (AV-20) is tending to two full squadrons of PT Boats, they have just returned from practicing fast attack runs on stationary targets.

ROD is very sneaky, He fooled me, Canada is a puppet state for ROD. He posted the other battleships as if they are Canada, but really his. Are they in the Indian Ocean ROD?
