This is why Yer Bouti is maintaining it's 24 Month draft for all 18 year olds.
Followed by 8 year primary reserve, 10 year class B reserve and 10 year class C.
The full time professional standing Army is getting larger but the reserves will remain a very important element.
Even old retired equipment bound to the scrap yard is getting a makeover to bolster the numbers game.
30x older BRDM's to join active units in the next week or so.

The General Secretary of the UIN called asking if CoC would and could bring the armed conflict to an end with Eurasia. Neither side is planning to occupy and conquer the other. The CoC is agreeable to cease military action. The Eurasia is as well. The Ambassadors to the UIN for the Commonwealth and Eurasia will sign agreement to cease military operations against each other within 30 minutes. No remuneration will take place. Any personnel will be exchanged at nearby Embassy to the location of the personnel. All treaties and agreements will be honored.

Yemen:
Drones detected a large convoy heading in a southerly direction in Saudi Arabia, about 60-70 trucks including about a dozen heavy haulers carrying M1A2 Abrams. Several sniper and TAG Teams were deployed on the highway 2 hours prior to their arrival in Yemen. Two other highways were covered with spotters and sniper teams. The Commonwealth set up a welcome committee for a warm reception. Once 6-7 miles in Yemen the EA-6 activated the jamming systems in preparation for a larger scale attack.
. 3 LAV-25 lead the convoy. 2 A-6 Intruders flew over dropping 2 HE and 2 Cluster bombs that were targeted by TAG team, completely destroying 2nd and 3rd LAV, the first one continued another 100 meters down the road, It stopped, then the rear doors opened to evaluated the situation about 250 meters down the road from the flaming LAV. Two men got out. 1...2 ..3,4 shots fired hitting the two looking out the turret. First one’s head splattered on the roadway and ditch to the starboard side of the LAV, hit by .50 Barrett rifle. The rest of his body slumped back into the hull. The other took a .308 round in the shoulder, he also slumped, screaming at the top of his lungs. The one man received a .50 round that spin his body to the edge of the pavement to the port side. The .308 shot missed since the body was moved.
. At the end of the convoy, 2 V-150(LAV-150) were hit by HE laser target bombs. 4 F/A-18 C flew from the stern of the convoy firing their 20mm hitting the trucks, cargo, and a few soldiers in the back of 3 trucks as they were finishing bailing out. A-6 flew from the west targeting laser bombs on trucks that might carrying supplies and equipment, but not the tanks. Drivers had stopped in ditches on both sides of the road making a mess, some in the middle of the road, drivers running away from the assault and carnage.
. Cobra attack helicopters moved in firing their 20mm gun at moving targets amongst the convoy. Then Puma and NH-90 helicopters came in landing adjacent to the remains of the convoy. 400 paras disembarked assaulting any person or group that showed any resistance. Some that tried to surrender were cut down by automatic fire, others were spared, pushed to the ground and then covered.
. As it turned out there were only 42 trucks in this convoy plus 7 armored vehicles. Two tank haulers were in good running order, 10 were not, needing new trucks to haul the M1A2s away. That would take several hours. Prisoners were collected, zip-tied, up to 10 in a helo, with 20-30 soldiers, some hauled by truck with the Abrams.
.
The other trucks stopped for a meal on the highway to the east. Hearing of the attack, they remained in Saudi Arabia, perhaps saving the lives of 200+ soldiers.
.
30 minutes later, radar detected 4 bandits inbound flying fast at 10,000 feet moving at 600 knots. 8 F/A-18 C were moved to met the challenge at 12,000 for a group of 4 to the southeast and a group of the other four head on at 10,400 feet. While the F-15 C entered Yemen airspace they fired AIM-120 missiles. The F/A-18 returned fire with missiles of their own. 3 F/A-18 were hit, all crashed in Yemen, two F-15 were hit, crashing in Saudi territory. The F-15 turned heading north at 1083 knots moving to height of 200 feet. 2 NH-90 were deployed to capture the pilots that parachuted. Two other NH-90 were deployed to evaluated the downed F-15, to retrieve data recorder. Cobras were deployed for each of these tasks. Both pilots captured, one needing extensive medical attention.

Aussies aren't going to move the CoC out of Darwin. That would invoke or trigger the Aboriginal Treatise. That Australian Citizens would be required to leave Western Australia and the western part of the Northern Territory and western section of South Australia. This was signed by Queen Victoria, Then based upon agreement with Monaco, now Monacodom, area of the Northern Territory would be sovereign land of the Commonwealth. Monacodom would be entitled to the northern section of the North Territory. Australia would lose rights to the Naval base at Darwin and other territory.

The assets that were captured from the Saudi convoy are in a convoy heading west with escort on the ground and the air. Going in separate group are the Saudi PWs.

Yemen,
Commonwealth military forces have extended out about 200 miles to the east of Sana's, approaching the city of Sawyun with light armored forces.
Saudis used M1A2 Abrams on the soldiers of the Commonwealth. The Commonwealth used Cobra attack helicopters, Rooikats, Ratel 20, 60, & 90. Engagements on the ground were in favor of the Saudi. There were pockets of engagement with Rooikat 105 were highly effective destroying Saudi softskin vehicles. In other cases being destroyed by the M1A2. Air power changed the outcome destroying several M1A2 and logistics vehicles of the Saudis. More Ratels 20 showed up, 4 more companies appeared outside of Sawyun. With them were dozens of Rooikats dismounting infnatry, anti-tank teams, MG teams to support operations. The infantry battalion of with 6 Ratel 90, 24 Rooikat 105, and 12 Ratel 60 in pairs, each with an AT team and HMG team and spotter, move to the northeast os Sawyun, finding a Saudis assembly area. The were not expecting this force to arrive. Men were deployed to advance, snipers set up to hit those trying to enter their Abrams. Mortar fire from 81mm Ratels brought down upon the unsuspecting Saudi armor crews. This could have been a route had this lager not been identified by drones. 7 AH-1 Cobras with 3 OH-1 Loch helped take part. In the end, 33 Saudi tankers captured, another 100 support crew members also captured. 6 M1A2 destroyed, dozens of trucks, jeeps and hummvs also knocked out.
. 4 hours later after taking inventory of those captured, 178 prisnors, 24 M1A2 captured, Over 2 dozen trucks having new army insignia painted on them.
As another column of Ratel 20 were heading into Sawyun, it came under fire from 155mm artillery with 8 knocked out, 4 more can be repaired later. 9 more with light damage. 8 Samil 10 truck wreaked along with several Samil 20 trucks. This occurred at an intersection of two highways, HE, AT bomb-let AP bomb-let, and incendiary rounds all contributing to the carnage
. Cobras were sent to eliminate the 155/152 batteries, which were located. Of the 5 that pursued the artillery, on 2 returned after knocking out 9 tubes of artillery and destroying several soft skin vehicles.

Yer Bouti
There was a Lariat Advance drill a few days ago.
Intel has learned that Yer Bouti is to receive T-90 MS Tagil MBTs. This could pose a serious threat to the West Sahara-dom, Muritania-dom. It is known that Eurasia has shipped the military vehicles, ammo, parts, training aids. Need to assess the best way to have the UIN to place sanctions against YB.
.
Canada
Following the HMCS Canada
I am glad that the Canadian Government and the RCN is evaluating the options for aircraft for their new carrier, HMCS Canada. Capt Dominne of the SSGN Bolivar is interested too, as he is following the carrier and group of ships about 6 miles to the stern of the carrier. The towed array was being utilized. A submersible was also utilized to get closer to the HMCS Canada, but that was problematic as its speed varied going as fast as 29 knots. So the submersible was only able to collect data from the starboard rear, then return to the mother sub to connect. Was able to capture some wonderful acoustic signature of several of the ships, certainly the HMCS Canada. After 2 hours following the carrier, dove deeper with towed array. The low-band antennae was being used to transfer data to the fleet.
. The Bolivar did ascertain that its presence was detected after 2 hours following along, not sure if they determine the identity of the submarine, but something was out here. The Bolivar did leave the carrier group.

The build up of CofC forces on Yer Bouti's Northern border under the cover of a "Lariat Advance" drill let slip some plans of the YB modernization.
The Northern Bognor region of YB is home to the 16 Armoured Brigade. Upon evidence of the increase in CofC troop numbers the 16th deployed out of their home garrison with most equipment.
Radio net discipline was not what it should have been. Four of the Brigades six tank companies are manned by National service members.
It could be attained that more than 60 MBT deployed along with 3 companies of infantry in BMP/BTR's. The artillery net covered 2 gun and 1 MLRS battery. An AD unit seemed to be mobile with 5 -6 call signs.
The reference to the T-90 came from a conscript saying on the open net that the new YB "Striker MBT was designed by the Sheik himself and it is better than a T-90".
Some smart **s replied "Yes but they are all going to the 92nd (Armoured Brigade) and the 16th is just issued with T-62's and bicycle clips!"

Yer Bouti
The drills, brigade movement is irksome, disconcerting to say the least, certainly so close to the northern border of YB.
. From the Azores Oil lease program, the release of funds from the previous month has been authorized. So, $84 million in USD is being transferred to Yer Bouti Local Bank, now with assets of $86 million. Liabilities of $27 million. Guess these funds keep the Yer Bouti Local Bank solvent.
.
Yemen
Military forces are moving the captured equipment from the Saudis to more secure area in Yemen, convoy heading west to Sana's, then perhaps to Al Zaydiyah, then to the coast for shipment to evaluation and integration to the military of the Commonwealth. The addition of 40 M1A2 Abrams is a bonus for the CoC Army. The government of Saudi Arabia is demanding the return of the military equipment, especially the armor. The Secretary of State for Saudia Arabia has flow to Monacodom to speak with the leadership of the CoC.
.
AH-1 Cobra with OH-1 Little Birds have made flights out into the desert to find opposing forces, gather intel and destroy some assets if reasonable the Scout team.
.
CHIdom
CHI is expected to receive two carriers of the Commonwealth for permanent basing. Escorts and support ships will accompany this assignment. The Coral Sea and Midway are two carriers. The Midway which was in the Indian Ocean is entering port today, a not well kept secret. Escort is 2 Perry frigates, 2 Burke destroyers, a Tico cruiser and a Type 45 destroyer. It is rumored that two submarines are part of the escort group. The Coral Sea is in the Coral Sea as we speak with its battle group.
.
The Commonwealth is evaluation its strategic organization of Naval assets, including carrier battle groups with their support ships. Congo is slated to receive a carrier group, 4 or 5 in the Mediterranean, including dry dock for overhaul and updating systems. Allocation of the carrier fleet is going through a thorough process to determine the best allocation to naval or joint task force bases.

Yemen
Fighting continues in Yemen with the Commonwealth forces fighting against Al-Kabab, Saudi forces and some Yemen unit loyal to Saudi. A real power struggle in Yemen.
Moroccodom Infantry unit in a skirmish line southeast of Sana's was ambushed by Al-Kabab with two former US halftracks with 14.2 AA machine guns. 9 were killed in the fire fight and 15 more with serious wounds. Cobras came up to support just after the ambush took place responding to radio call. ATGM destroyed both half tracks. The Al-Kabab infantry disappeared into houses of Soffett Sana's. The Moroccodom infantry were not in a position to pursue Al-Kabab.
.
Eurasia has control of Socotra Naval Base on Socotra Island south of Yemen. The CoC Ambassador was out outmaneuvered by the Eurasian Ambassador. Eurasia retains the base, upon assuming the terms with Yemen. Thus the small group of ship in Djibouti are sailing to their new base to continue to repair from the damage from the conflict. The CoC Ambassador to the UIN was thinking that since it was not owned by the Commonwealth but leased to the Commonwealth by Yemen for 200 years that it would be returned to CoC. Eurasia will continue to utilize Djibouti.
.
This creates a new initiative for the CoC in Yemen. Although the importance of Socotra Naval Base is reduced in the area with new members in Africa joining the Commonwealth.

Saudi forces in central Yemen moving west, as detected by drones. It consisted of 44 M1 Abrams, probably M1A2, looked like British MCV-80 with LAV-25 turrets, YPRs.
The Ambassador of the Commonwealth in Riyadh, called the Sec. of State and King of Saudi Arabia once he was informed of the recent developments, Ambassador Islan expressed concern of this force advancing toward the CoC forces. It does not appear to be approaching any Al Kabab, Shis Kabab or any other Kabab. The Military advisor to Amb Islan, Col Health expressed that the expectation is that most of the vehicles could and would be destroyed or captured. Discussion ensued for almost an hour.
. In the end, the Saudi armored forced stopped, turned around, moving to a highway that they had deployed from tank haulers. The next several drones in series then followed the convoy of vehicles north into Saudi Arabia. There are still other vehicles that need to be moved and infantry to be transferred north, about 1/3 have moved north.
..
CHIdom
The Midway and its escorts docked in Yulin Naval Base, CHIdom, (Zhenjiang port). .Fireworks were set off. The base commander, Wang Hai, had a formal welcoming ceremony for the senior officers. Bar-B-Q, Chinese style was provided on base. 6 more supply ships have docked and started unloading more supplies.
. The Coral Sea is expected within days. Constellation is expected to visit Darwin Australia, then possibly Manila, Philippines for port-o-call.
.
Africa: Mali, Mauritania, Senegal, Ivory Coast, etc. The infrastructure of highway systems and rail system is continuing, making significant progress. In areas that are completed, traffic, especially commercial traffic has increased. Not at the level of prediction. Was hoping for 10-15% more vehicles. and tonnage. This does link and bond the Commonwealth together more closely.
. For the highway there was a mis-match of the construction, several construction projects are at work. They will have one project (part of the highway) link up with another... at one location it would have been 3 miles off. Fortunately, satellite imagery provided definitive insight that a change in plans needs to occur, evaluate the terrain for the infrastructure to minimize the negative impact. This was to occur on the border of Mali and Mauritania. How embarrassing.

Yemen
Saudis are moving north, having pledge to leave Yemen, Al Kabab still is a thorn with support from Hothi. Expect to have a complete withdraw in 2 weeks. There will be a void to fill, certainly to fight the Al Kabab. The CoC is moving armor to the east.
A forced landing on the south shore east of Al Ghaydah with FSM-1, 4 Type 23 frigates, 3 Type 45 destroyers, with two DDH, a carrier, the Forrestal, the Saratoga and Illustrious in support of the landing with a Tarawa and Diego Garcia, a Long Beach class and 4 LST are participating in the landing. P-3 are flying above the frey. No resistance on the landing. 5000 men and assault equipment has landed.
