I do enjoy reading your stories and battle reports, Chris. I wish you would keep writing them and posting them. I think that some of the concern is that the CoC may be gobbling up too much real estate and not leaving much for other imagi-nations. I like that the CoC is hungry for territory - it gives your nation a flavor and an attitude that is all its own. And it's not like history isn't full of real people and nations bent on world domination!
I know you have a massive collection and you have shared photos of it on this forum. I personally don't have any beef with substituting one type of sub for another. I think we probably all do it to a certain extent with all of the vehicle variations in the world today. I also don't think that we should have a 1 to 1 representation of every vehicles in our nation's inventory. if you have 7 tanks and you want to call it a battalion, I'm fine with that. Other wise where do we draw the line? Will we next have to own all of the fuel trucks in the HHC?

Maybe what you can do since you gave me your Doms, is to write up a story on how the CofC's regional administration began to Collapse under the immense political weight, and various Doms starts to secede from the Commonwealth to form there own warring factions just to survive the aftermath of this collapse.
While I can cover those Former Doms once the appropriate military models are acquired.

What exactly do you mean by "gave me your doms"? If the issue is that too much of the earth is occupied by imaginations then transfering those areas to another nation isnt going to solve the problem. If you are just setting them free and making them independent then what do you need their military equipment for?
Should be a good story either way.

Chris gave me his Doms, Redleg and yes my plan is to make them independent nations again though conflict will follow as a result of this Collapse, the military equipment represents those warring factions who stole them from former CofC bases and Armories and began to fight each other for resources. its up to Canada and her allies to put an end to it and turn these fractured territories back into individual country's once again.

I just assumed Chris actually had all the minis he talked about given the photos he's posted. As a small fry nation with a tiny military facing the awesome power of the UIN version of the US military, I react with equal parts fear, envy, and respect. That's how I saw the CofC. If I felt fenced in it was more by Finland being in a defense pact on one side and Nato all around. Sure he was gobbling up nations left and right but foreign adventurism could still be had. There was just a line where I might draw down the ire of foreign militaries on myself. I'd rather mix it up with someone a lot less heavily armed than CofC. Honestly, I've been too distracted by real life these last few months to get stuff painted or to expand my army to where I want to be.
I can't believe Chris would give up the doms. What will you do with a new form of commonwealth and what could bring down such an empire?

As it turns out the CofC as a Imagi-nation may not be around anymore, though i do enjoy reading Chris posts and his engagements and his rather amusing but rather propaganda filled Wolfs Lair news reports, but yea the rapid expansion of his nation that almost covered the whole globe is honestly what did him in. but maybe some day Chris would return.
But for now it looks like Canada will have to bring in Millions of tons of the handyman's secret weapon to put each nation that the former Commonwealth left behind back together again.

Chris actually does have the minis It would take to whip us all. And manage his far-flung empire. So, if he chooses, we are all in trouble. Prepare yourselves.
He IS a dealer. In self defense, you might become a great customer, which might make him less inclined to take you out. He will sell you the equipment necessary to defend yourself, but even at 2 to one, you have a LOT of catching up to do. I figure for most of us, he can achieve odds of 6 to 1 along your entire front. And they are all painted.
One must develop strategies that safeguard one's independence... Mine has been to take on the role of gadfly, become self-resourcing, and stay out of his way, save for rhetoric, ie, unsuccessfully undermining his efforts to be a world power.I
Good luck.
