Flight time 313 seconds from Yer Bouti. Three single warheads arrive close enough.

Image

5-10 seconds later two submunitions warheads arrive covering the area.

Image

4 Kms away the Canadians are rudely awoken!

YB has a high degree of confidence that 4-6 of the top Al Kabab commanders responsible for operations in the Northern half of the country were at the farm.
One of the missiles had " From Yer Bouti Ferry services" written on it.

The Canadian army unit at the outpost suddenly jumped out of there tents when they heard the explosions, thinking they where under attack from AL-Kabab, they gathered themselves and starts charging into the area.

Former Mauritaniadom.

Northern border with Yer Bouti. Mortar rounds and rockets have been fired in to YB, no reports of casualties at the moment.
The YB government will not allow the civil unrest in the former Mauritaniadom to effect the safety of the YB people.

The Martyrs du pantalon en velours côtelé brun have issued a statement saying they will do everything possible to bring security to the area and will cooperate fully with the YB government.

Americus Island, Mediterranean Sea
A dozen P-3 flew in for structural integrity evaluation and upgrade to prolong their serviceable life. 7 flew out after their work ups. More will be coming in on rotation. 3 B-58 Hustlers have finished their updating and service, test run to the east to Tripoli and then northwest to Armenia, then back to Americus Island.
.
Briticus Island in the Med.
2 dozen Tornadoes were transferred by ship to the island. Evaluation and training will be conducted by UK advisors.
.
Mauritania
Task Force Sven north of Highway 14 was approaching a small cluster of home 2 miles from the edge of Nouakchott. When about 600 meters away, a series of ATGM were fired at the Merkava 1. In all over a dozen missiles were fired. There is not a trophy system, so using cover and it armor protection were the only defenses of the Merkava tanks. 9 different tanks were hit, a couple took multiple hits. Armor plates were destroyed, 3 had penetration which hit and affected the engines, effectively knock those 3 out of the conflict. 3 crewmen were killed in total with other missile shots. A tank commander was standing with upper torso outside the commander's hatch. He was hit in the upper chest, neck, and face. 105mm HE rounds were fired back into using the thermal imaging. Suspecting a dozen causalities.

Former Mauritaniadom
Northern Desert.

YB News.
This evening the Yer Bouti Air Force conducted several air strikes on rebel groups operating in the Northern desert area along the border with YB.
This was in response to the mortar and rockets fired in to Yer Bouti earlier today. All aircraft returned safely.

Democratic Federation of Mauritania News.
Two DFM training camps in the North of the country have been attacked by Yer Bouti causing little damage. At least three jets have been shot down
The bulk of the attacks seem to have targeted Al Kabab units in the North. Following a very large car bomb attack by the Brown Trousers that killed most of the AL Kabab command in the North on Sunday.
The Kabab are in disarray. It is said some units received radio orders to mass at certain points to await new commanders only to be bombed from the air or ambushed by Brown Trousers Militia.

Former Mauritaniadom
Northern city of Nouadhibou

The rag tag members of the Brown Trouser faction along with local town police, have been manning check points in to the this most Northern city since the start of hostilities.
There has been a large increase in people fleeing the Capital but it has been for the most part calm.
In the last two days the BT have been seen with new khaki uniforms and a lot of extra little khaki men appear to have flooded the city.
Late this evening the main checkpoint was told to expect reinforcements from the BT Northern Group.

Image

The convoy of AMX-30, AMX-13 and other vehicles was welcomed..

Image

The new force later disperse around the city, the city is peaceful tonight.
It was rumored that another convoy about the same size was heading East in to the desert with AMX-10RC, ERC-90 and support etc.

Yer Bouti.

In order to protect our Southern communities from continuing attacks, a no fly zone will be imposed 50 kms South of YB over the former Mauritaniadom .
This will include the city of Nouadhibou.
Yer Bouti Air Defence and Air Force units can fire at will on any aerial target located.

These actions are purely for self defence.
No Yer Bouti Forces are in the former Mauritaniadom.

T.zeina area
The Canadians entered into the brown trousers area without finding any evidence for Al-Kabab activity, afterwards they started traveling back to there outpost they took a route that lead them into what they refer as the "no go zone", but there on a tight deadline to get back to the beach to protect there transport ships, so they pressed forward into this zone.

The city, T.zeina area.
The Canadians start to come under light small arms fire to the sides of their vehicles. Heavier 23mm auto canon is being fired into the sky.
It is definitely a warning to stop and retrace their steps.
The road ahead is littered with burnt out cars and trucks, the perfect hiding spot for an IED.
It is almost impossible to turn the turrets on the street as the roads are so narrow, let alone turn a vehicle.
An opening between buildings is about 20m back from the front of the Canadian column , just enough space to turn a LAV3 around if they wish.
A large angry unarmed mob is forming to their front throwing rocks, making Molotov's.

T.zeina
The Canadian army continues to press forward into the city to return to the beach, firing tear gas and smoke rounds into the mob to make them clear the streets for the tanks and LAVs to pass through, the Officer in charge of this Canadian column is on a tight schedule as the MV Anthony Henday is nearing the port and he does want any delays, the officer then stands up from the hatch of his M557 and brings out his load speaker asking the Mob to get out of the way.

The city, T.zeina area.

Upon firing the first tear gas round the Canadians come under increasing small arms fire from all directions. The mob starts to run.
The officer on the M577 just has time to look to his left to see the RPG7 being fired. It hits the M577 square on the side from less than 50 meters.

In less than 15 seconds no less than eight RPG's have hit the column.
At the rear, the last vehicle is trying to back up to give some room for maneuver, it is struck by a Milan ATGW fired from the top of a large white six story building (tallest in the area).
Several vehicles are disabled along the column. They can not move forward or backwards.
The small arms fire now intense is joined by larger 23mm rounds, people are aiming for the sights and optics on the armoured traffic jam.
A different mob is now forming and everyone is armed.

T.zeina
The remaining Canadian personal in the column dived for cover from the small arms fire, but without there commanding officer to lead them they start to panic and spraying there assault rifle ammo in the direction of the small arms fire, while in the M577 the remaining command staff are squabbling on who should be next in command while under fire, in the end command was given to a Junior Lieutenant who recently graduated from Officers Academy in Ottawa, however he was shaken by the RPG explosion that killed the Columns Commander he was attached to in order to gain experience in commanding ground forces, not knowing what to do the Lieutenant order a retreat out of the city, the Canadians abandoned there vehicles and scattered trying to reach the safety of there outpost on the beach just west of them.

Maple Leaf Landing
The MV Anthony Henday has just arrived in port safely, delivering its supply's as well as fresh infantry to the campaign, the Commander at the Port hearing the Mayday call from the armored column in the T.zeina region ordered several Chinook Helicopters to fly outside the area to pick up any survivors that managed to escape the firefight.
