Welll.... It WAS tongue-in-cheek commentary. This thread is kind of passing entertainment. I don't think we will goad GHQ into publishing the list before the list is ready and I am sure they will get it out as soon as they can so as not to anger their impatient customers. Just enjoy the swinging and think how much greater you will enjoy the list for all the sweet anticipatory torture. I am looking forward to the list, too.

This shows how spoiled we have become. Some of us old farts don't have much else to keep us interested in - so we live for the list!

The list IS important. After all, it is an indication of how much money we will have left to spend on food for the year after GHQ blows our budget.

"All I want for Christmas is the unit list"...

Let's be specific though, Christmas in July :P If it takes til actual christmas I'll chuck a wobbly haha!

Jokes aside I am really looking forward to this year's list, I feel there were some excellent suggestions made by many, and I really hope this is the year for new infantry packs - those of us who are looking to get some Cold War British/Commonwealth troops (and in my case modern Aussies) are itching to see if we finally get Carl Gustav recoilless rifles!

Every year we demand the new list. It's kind of funny to read it all here. It comes when it comes. Just wait.
One could put together in the suggestion thread itself a list for 2019/20 and post here. Let's see who has how many right models each.

I'm glad that the list hasn't been posted yet because I'm still waiting to win the lottery. Let me take one more crack at the Mega Millions Super Lotto Jackpot before the list is posted so I'll be able to afford all of the new micro armor.

I always like to check in and see what's coming up around this time of the year, and hoped that the new releases would be posted too. Did they ever say that the list was going to be posted by a date, and then missed the date? It's hard to figure out what's going on with this post. Is there just an assumption that the post would be up? I'm fine with when ever it comes up- I'm not going to get the minis any sooner. IMHO it did seem like there was a tinge of injustice in some previous posts. I don't mean to ruffle any feathers, I just wanted to say that I too am very excited to see what's on the list, if any of my suggestions made it, and that I will be happy to see it when it comes.

Game on y'all!

The catalog has been significantly reorganized. Perhaps that contributed to the delay.

It's all idle chatter as we try to relieve the anticipatory tension. If only my budget supported my desires...

Oh WHERE, oh where is the GHQ list?
Oh WHERE, oh where can it be?
With some lovely war ships and more stuff for track toads;
Oh WHERE, oh where can it be?

You've probably guessed by now that I'm a warship geezer - but WWI & WWII only. (Missiles are SO uncivilized!) This is the longest its been before they let us know what's up. Should we ask the authorities to make a wellness check??

Maybe it is just a really, really big list this year.

The new 1/2400 buildings and accessories could be proving a challenge to package.
The software for the new "pick n mix your own" Combat Command sets may need tweaking.
You just never know.

Panzergator,

What did I do with my money? Ya ask because I don't have to buy battalions of new tracked vehicles every year? I collect things!!!! I've got small dinosaur figures all over the apt.; boxes of painted (mostly) D & D figures; Star Trek & Bablyon 5 star ship figures; GHQ Napoleonic ships and WWII aircraft (None of which are painted or, I suspect, likely to be painted); some stamps, coins , and paper money (do you know that Hungary once issued a 100 million billion pengo bank note - and their "billion" is our "trillion?" It would have 20 zeros after the "1," if they were printed out, but were sold for less than U$10.00.The biggest note was a 200 million B-Pengo note, but I don't have that one). And More junk!!

I even had bunches of Beanie Babies for awhile. It was fun hunting them down during the 'craze,' but when that was over I gave them (and some other stuff) to a daughter who's a teacher. She used them as awards/gifts in her classes.

Actually, nowadays much of it is/will be going to help my granddaughters' (each one of which is lovelier than the other two put together) college educations.

Yes, we have a couple SUITCASES of Breanie Babies in the basement all collected from McDonald's in the Killeen/Waco area the summer we got back from Germany. Maddening hunting expeditions in weekends. Special excursions for a new shipment. "We'll be able to use a hem for the kid's college!!". Left me muttering about who was REALLY gonna pay for kid's college. .. I HATE those things.
