Panzergator;

Aah, you recognized it! I wondered if anyone would. Actually mama sent me to piano lessons (I couldn't sing at all) - for eight,lonnnnnnng, endlessss years. She let me off the hook at 16, & I haven't touched piano music since then.

I remember those McDonalds beanie babies. People were lining up, with lines extending out the door, to get 'em. A few co-workers & i sat & watched them one lunch period. There were people in line that were on cell phones, coordinating with someone(s) on other stores to see who was getting what. At one point, they started chanting in unison for the store to bring out one that hadn't come up for awhile. The store boss went to the storeroom & came out with a case of the one the people wanted. We had fun just sitting and watching them.

Panzergator,

On another subject (I won't mention b.b.be...), do the 3D printing outfits produce "tracks" in your scale? If so, how is/are the quality? I'm curious.

I've brought 2400 scale warships from 3D printers, and some of them are really good. (Others are a bit 'rough' and need a bit of filing to smooth them out.) They don't have the 'heft' of GHQ, but they're good to real good substitutes. WTJ, for example, produces some dreadnought and many pre-dreadnought warships that GHQ would never get around to. A couple of other designers work through Shapeways to supply WWI & WWII built and never-built warships. Are there similar sources for your stuff?
