ACWBill, love the terrain with the armor, love the draped flag, great presentation.
Cav, very nice infantry.
Redleg. Don’t tap it, thump it. Nice artillery.
I need to improve my game.
Congratulations gentlemen.

redleg// Truly good painting, It reminds my service day when i was fdc for K9(Korean SPG) battery. We used different kind of shell transporter called K10 which has transfer boom front of vehicle. Whatever, paint is great and especially base color of vehicle is perfect. It would be perfect if they get wash or dry brushing with light color.

This is my recent work, i have been busy for writing some research paper but i can finish some good models.

M103 Heavy tank, I know it doesn't have chance to get paint with MERDC but still it looks great.

M1A1 with weathering effect, still my best tank

K2 Black Panther, S.K army's proud. Recently army decide to have additional production.

I used Tamiya weathering master for sand effect around chassis. But weathering top of turret and chassis was bad idea. It kill some details. Still most of model get truly nice realism.

Great work, Abe! Fantastic paint jobs and weathering on your vehicles! I shot quite a bit of artillery in Korea as well! Back in 1998-1999 I was an FDO in 2-17 Field Artillery at Camp Hovey in Dongducheon!

Cav Dog- Good job on the infantry stands. I'm getting ready to paint some WW2 German and Italians. How long does it usually take you to paint up a stand? It seems to take me a week! I need to speed up the process.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

It takes five days to get the infantry painted and mounted on the stands and then another two days to finish the bases. I usually do about 20 - 30 stands at a time as follows:

Day 1: Prep and prime figures. I do this while they are still on the sprue.
Day 2: Paint basecoat and details.
Day 3: Gloss varnish
Day 4: Blackwash using Army Painter strong tone.
Day 5: Matt varnish
Day 6: Remove figures from sprues, file bottom of figure bases flat and glue onto plastic base using CA adhesive. Texture base using Vallejo Earth Texture. Paint base color and drybrush to highlight.
Day 7: Glue down flock and talus, and spray with scenic cement to lock everything down.

You could omit the blackwash and gloss varnish to trim a couple of days off the process. I use an airbrush for priming, base coating and varnishing so that saves some time but letting things dry overnight is what stretches it out over so many days.

Abe,
Really nice camouflage on those tanks. What colors did you use on each?
Thank you for sharing.

Cavdog, I stand in awe of your infantry, I must really have a proper go at some more before the eyes give up.
Redleg, Love the Artillery keep playing it LOUD.
Abe, The K2 cammo came out great, I still have a soft spot for the K2 seems an excellent MBT on paper.
