Howdy all, what is the best set of 1-1 ww2 and cold war rules available, I have used the WRG rules for decades, just wondering what is available this day and age, oh I also like my tractics by TSR but my copy bought thr farm in the floods in 1992/3

I would try GMTs Panzer and MBT. While it is a counter game, it lends itself well to miniatures.

I really like the Mein Panzer rules from Old Dominion Game Works. I've only played WW2, but I believe there us a modern expansion that would cover cold war.

Table Games classic Challenger or Challenger 2000 ultra modern rules. There are expansions for vehicles, helicopters and aircraft, TOE digest of 4 books.

Look into "Engage & Destroy". Theyre a bit dated but work well and are quite simple yet have some depth of detail. I believe they were printed about the 1980's. You can probably find a copy on the "evil" site.
