Sorry to hear you are leaving the forums. I really enjoyed reading your recent posts on pacific naval topics including aircraft types and aircraft carrier compliments. I was also looking forward to more of your posts on pacific WW2 naval carrier wargaming and tactics.
I hope you change your mind and post again on this forum in the future. Take care and please don't stay away long.

I'm sorry to hear that you're leaving the forum. I managed to survive my daughter's adolescence by playing non-military games with her. Maybe when your daughter is older ---

In a few years, YOU will ask HER that very question. Meanwhile soak up EVERY MINUTE YOU CAN with her. You are making the right decision. There is no more important job than PARENT, not any better investment of time.

Parenthood came to me a little bit late, as well, Fireball. First one at 38, second at 42, and last one at 45. My wife and I were old enough to appreciate our children.. I am now almost 70 and have our first, magical little grandson. We have been blessed with great boys who have found wonderful girls. You will never regret the investment in time for children. Take all the time you can.

I'm sorry you're leaving Uncle Fireball. I always loved your status as forum provacateur. You may have ruffled feathers but got conversations going and pushed us to think. You "could" always switch to checking the forums before bed but that might annoy Mrs. Fireball. As others said, enjoy all the time you can with your daughter. She needs you.
(P.S. you have Legion minis?! I'd love to get some but that would delay getting tanks. I may hit 500 posts but it'll take a long time. Real life keeps pulling me away from here.)

Man, FB that was quite a post and I’m glad you and the family persevered. Kill the computer, spend time with kids - thats a great equation. I admire you for it.
But ....... once a month you could sneak in and throw a hand grenade or two and then sit back and watch the fun.
Hope you stick around or come back, we could use an arrogant rabble rouser every now and then.

Hope you hang around
I post only time to time but I do like to read and checkout what others do with the hobby.
I went from posting only using a PC to only using a smartphone. So when I’m waiting for anything I check out the site.
Yea I agree we spend too much time with our devices. My kids are grown 18 and 22 and I miss all the family time with uses to have.
Funny when everyone uses to tell me that they will grow fast how true that is.
Enjoy that time since the hobby will always be here waiting for your return.
I stopped collection for about 10yrs when I met my wife. Then again a few years after my kids were born. Lucky for me I never sold any of it.
Then again I hardly sell anything Incase I decide to return to any of my hobbies.
Enjoy the break but you like Cama will be back. Once in only one way out.....🎚🎚🎚lol
