Chris, check 'New Items. "
THREE! There are THREE cal50s on top of that turret! GOOD GOD! That means 5 mgs total.in that turret. Maybe it needs a tailgunner, too. Should we bring back the bow gunner?

I am sorry to say I am rather disappointed...
From the thread announcing the list:
These are M4A3s. Not M4s. So still no Shermans for Normandy.
Sigh ...

Alas, no, we did not get the Shermans I thought we would get.Mk 1 wrote:Shermans.
Shermans, shermans, SHERMANS.
Put me down for some of the new Shermans. Presumable these are M4 (not just using M4 as a short-hand for some submodel like M4A1). Good. Good solid D-Day and beyond Shermans. I even went to the competition to get a company of M4s with the M34A1 mantlet and the split hatch, but they don't have applique armor. I've been staring at them wondering if I'll ever get to kit-bashing some applique armor onto them, and now I AM GLAD I WAITED.
Cuz I'm in for some new Shermans. Got to have at least a battalion of 'em.
Mmmmm. Shermans.
Oh, and I'll also get some of the Italian trucks. Pretty good choice. Will serve my Italian forces for the Eastern Front, Tunisia and/or Sicily. Can do double-duty with my French Army (oddity of WW2, that the French were ordering and receiving Fiat trucks right up until the two countries started fighting). These trucks were also found in the civilian market, as I understand it. So gotta get a few more than I need, and paint 'em up to add to my collection of Civvies.
So nice trucks to have. Those, and Shermans. Did I mention I'll be getting some of the new Shermans? I think I did ...

It seems to me there is a disconnect with proper research. GHQ might consider investing in a basic library or perhaps consulting with some of us in the forum who have some resources. Hunnicutt's books are a great starting point for U.S. vehicles. These details are IMPORTANT to some of us. M4 models, in particular, can be confusing, but can be mastered with a modicum of effort. NOT JUST ANY SHERMAN WILL DO. And I can always point to that M577 track extension disaster that we have continuing in the list. I'm currently looking into those M2 mgs foresting the cdr's cupola on the M1A2 TUSK 2.
I guess I would appreciate being asked a few questions by the project boss to clarify some of our issues as part of the process before they go final in the design.
Very frustrating, to say in the least. You might have to check Legions IV Hire for what you want until GHQ comes around.

M88A2 HERCULES
Looking forward to picking up the M88A2 HERCULES. btw it looks like they've come out with an M88A3 with Abrams-like 7 road wheels per side, these can recover the latest Abrams series by themselves

It could be manufacturer specific, using shades of CARC paint on hand for a demonstration model. I can't find anyone using NATO tricolor replacing black with tan; the Aussies use a similar scheme to NATO tricolor but with brown replaced by tanpanzergator wrote:What nationality is the camo pattern on that M88 pic?

Fiat 626
Is anyone here able to tell me the composition of IT29 Fiat 626 Truck packs? Are they all covered, open back or hardbodies and in what mix?

I can't find any indication of an IT29 Fiat 626 Truck product, either in the catalogue or on the new releases list.
Can you give a pointer? While I certainly don't have information on the contents of the pack, I am quite interested in the potential of more stuff to buy for my Italian force.
