Redleg,

I meant to ask you, what did you use for the rocket pods and .50 cals on the Kiowa Warriors?

They look good IMHO.
Tactics are the opinion of the senior officer present.

Hey Cav Dog, The rocket pods were some 1.6mm diameter plastic rod. I snipped the missiles off the right side, snipped a little off the launcher, and then I just glued a piece of the rod. I'm sure I looked pretty stupid walking around the hobby store with a micro armor AH-1 in my hand checking the plastic rod sizes against the cobra's rocket pod.

For the .50 can I snipped the outboard missile off of the left side, and some of the launcher. The remaining missile I tried to snip and file into a generally rectangular shape and then I just glues a short piece of wire to the end.

It should have been easy but apparently I'm all thumbs. Be sure to post some pics of your birds!

It was not publicized, but elements of the 9th ACR recently deployed to the Middle East. Here is an under-strength tank platoon from Grizzly Troop patrolling near the Wadi al Souflaki, accompanied by a Kiowa Warrior from Ocelot troop.
