Outboard Islands
After Hours of searching The Calgary Highlanders has not found anyone yet, and from the looks of things the port city had been abandoned for months, giving out the all clear signal the Canadian Red Cross will set up there relief operations on Mercury Island, hoping that these islanders will come to them for safety.

Meanwhile off the coast of the Islands, HMCS Haida's sonar picked up a submarine nearby, the sonar crew cannot get a positive ID on it, the fleet will have to send some aircraft to take a look at it they ordered HMCS Puncher to launch a pair of Grumman Avenger ASW aircraft along with 5 Supermarine Seafires as escort.

SOMEbody presumes the Gator State exchanges diplomatic personnel with other states. That is LAUGHABLE! And the ONLY states GS maintains formal relations with are the United States and Great Britain. GS sends a trade rep to Germany to obtain bier. That's it, Folks. Somebody is having you on.

CULTURAL rep! What a hoot!

This Is UCBC News The National, here is Dale Mansbridge.

(Dale Mansbridge): "The Canadian Military has done some sweeping changes to how the Armed Forces conducts its operations and restructures its military after the Third loss suffered in Mauritania last week. New Changes include, better trained officers, Improved handling of logistics, and better cooperation with other armed forces according to the recommendations that came from the ROD who their Senior officers setup a meeting with members of the Canadian Armed Forces Council to discuss how to develop a more competent military force."

(General Thornton): "The ROD has given us some valuable insight on how a military should be run in the first place some of their ideas was nothing I never heard off before."

(Dale Mansbridge): "These changes will be completed in August."

"The New Canadian Government is looking into granting the small percentage of Canadian citizens who use Cannabis access to the drug in the country but in a heavily restricted way, this is to prevent any health problems from the majority of the population, while also halting the migrant problem in BC where some of these Cannabis users are attempting to flee to the neighboring island nation of Karma-naskis.

(New Canadian Government Offical): "We hope that this new legislation will work best to solve the migrant problem, as its causing issues with that island nation."

(Dale Mansbrige): "This new Cannabis legation will be in place at the end of July."

The Indian Goverment is asking Canada to send Navy ships over to the Straits of Hormuz, as the situation there is escalating, India's Intelligence worries that the conflict could spill over Into their country. The Royal Canadian Navy will send a Large Battlegroup to the Straits later this week.

CFB Esquimult is scrambling to get what Navy ships selected for the mission prepared for the trip to the strait, the RCNs Logistics department is clogged full of requisition papers that the clerks will have to sort through to ensure the supplies get to the ships as best as they could. New Canada fought the Eurasian empire before during the New Year War, they will beat them again.

INDIA! STOP THAT! Somebody needs to give India a clue about the New Canadians. Likely the Strait of Hormuz will literally EXPLODE when the Canadians arrive. Just WHAT situation has IMPROVED with "NEW" Canadians about? Even New Canada hasn't improved under the "New" regime. Geez, just STAY HOME! MYOB! Even the Gator State would like to see the U.I.N. intervene to confine Canada to its own shores. Hell, they'll probably DRAIN the strait by accident and NOBODY will be able to sail anywhere.

Keep this up and you will need that army and navy to defend yourselves from all the countries clamoring for Canada's hide! Better keep it home.

You know, India has a navy of its own and it isn't doing much with it except scaring Pakistanis and Chinese with it. It could send a couple frigates over there. Why would India SUDDENLY be interested in this and ask the Canadians, of all nations? How much did Canada PAY India to make this request?

A suspicious gambit on the part of Canada...

India is closest country to the Straits of hormaz, and their worried that the conflict might spill over into their country, sure they do have a navy, but Canada has the most ships to hold the line. Inda will send some of their own ships to back them up.

India has nothing to worry about. Israel is in the opposite direction.

This will be sad to watch. Just curious...ever heard of The Influence of Sea Power Upon History, by Alfred Thayer Mahan?

Not sure that any situation would prompt India to respond.

Book was written before PG was born.

A substantial contribution to India's defense budget might do it. Crossing a few palms... Looks like a line-up job, though. Navy in search of something to shoot. Government looking for legitimacy. Nothing to offer but violence. Ultimately, worse than CofC.

Yeah, real consolation... A hegemon and a wannabe hegemon. It is ironic that, when there might be a useful role for both CofC and U.I.N. to play, they both are silent. Kinda like you never see Batman when Bruce Wayne is around.
