The ROD ships can just make port on the west side of the island f there are any ports available. Then our boys can just train / bus / taxi to the capital or to other parts of the country.
The captains and master chiefs of the ships would like to visit the capital and pay a friendly visit to your navy folk. The train ride will give them a chance to pick up a fruit basket or something as a gift. Normally if we made a planned visit we would bring a puppy, but all we have on board the battleship is a grouchy 15 year old mutt named Sunshine.

I was just looking at the map and that is some pretty rough terrain! If there are no good east-west highways or trains we will take the narrow passage to Comox. We'll make sure we have a sober and conscientious sailor at the helm.
Seriously - great looking terrain for some mountain warfare and amphibious infiltration exercises!

That's a great looking website! We will keep on eye on it for new pics and info!
We will keep an eye out for the Kipursoff, and we will certainly be looking for your corvette and submarine as well! We expect to arrive on Saturday morning.
We are still seeking approval for a visit to Victoria in New Canada. It wasn't too long ago that the New Canadians were protesting the ROD and we need to make sure that our ships and crew will be safe if we make a port call in the country.

Meanwhile a long distance away, the New Canadian Battleship HMCS Confederation, is monitoring the rendezvous point of both the ROD and KDF ships out on the west coast.

In the Air a Short Sunderland Flying Boat from No. 12th RCN Navy recon squadron is making a wide circle around the whole site taking photographs for recon work before flying back home to Esquimult.

At the first sign of hostile aircraft the Wolverine dives, heading deep and changing course several times. The battleship Fenris cannot dive, however. She takes evasive action and sounds general quarters. The only real air defense weapon that she has is her 4 Vulcan Phalanx CIWS systems. Crews man heavy machineguns which are meant to defend against small boat attacks and turn them skyward.
As the aircraft get closer, the battleship activates electronic countermeasure and fires chaff while twisting and turning at flank speed.
The old battleship is a heavily armored war machine, but by herself she is no match for a coordinated air attack.
