Canadian Armed Forces HQ, Ottawa.

(Chief of the Defense Staff): "Well Gentlemen this is a rather...unexpected event to happen, a Pair of ROD ships visiting Karma-naskis, do we know the exact class of those ships?"

(CSIS official): "From their own Website, the Fenris is a Iowa Class Battleship, and the Wolverine is...a Ohio Class Ballistic Missile Sub."

(The whole Council broke into a cold sweet over the later).

(Admiral Kirk): "I-I can't Imagine what would happen if Karma-naskis figures out how to build and employ such classes of ships and this close to home, and using ROD's tactics."

(Chief of the Defense Staff): "Ok Gentlemen please calm down, we have no idea what is happening at the moment right now, the RCNs Pacific fleet will survey this event from a good distance once the ROD ships arrive in a couple days last thing we want is to ruin relations with the ROD even further, as they have helped us with our forces."

The grenadier battalion looks pretty good. That's a lot of grenade launchers! I must reiterate that clearing fortified positions is something that every infantry unit is (or should be) trained to do. In fact, many different kinds of units are trained to do it. I did it as an artilleryman. Not sure if that is the unit's purpose or not, but I'd hate for you to have an infantry battalion sitting around waiting for a mission that fits their specialty profile when they could be out stacking bodies in other ways.

That is the Grenadiers role to clear out fortified positions with explosives, they are supported by the Light Infantry regiments during any deployment as required under the New Canadian Army's Combat Doctrine.

Parliament Hill, Ottawa Ontario.
The New Canadian House of Commons is in a meeting to go over the issue of Cannabis Legalization in the Country.

(Speaker of the House): "Honorable Minister of Health"

(Minister of Health): "Mr Speaker, as of this date Health Canada has not found any scientific evidence suggesting that Cannabis has any Medical applications what so ever, so why should it be made legal when it has nothing to offer to Canadians."
(Clapping)

(Speaker of the House): "Honorable Premier of British Columbia."

(Premier of British Columbia): "Mr Speaker I totally concur with the Minister of Health on Cannabis as it has cause nothing but breathing problems to the citizens of Victoria, who live near the land border with the nation of Karma-naskis, this plant will still pose a health risk as such it must stay out of the country."
(Clapping)

(Speaker of the House): "Honorable Prime Minister"

(Prime Minister): "Mr Speaker, while i do concur with the two members over this matter, but the fact is that smuggling of Cannabis is rife in Vancouver Island right now, and the nation of Karma-Naskis has done nothing to stop it, if Cannabis is made legal it should reduce the problems of smuggling in the country."
(Booing).

(Speaker of the House): "Order in the House please."

(Minister of Health): "Prime Minister, I object to legalizing it, as we do not know if it safe for use in the country, even if it was legal, What can we use this plant for? Surely not for general medicine that's for damn sure."
(Laughing)

(Energy Minister): "How about renewable energy? Like that will ever happen."
(Laughing)

(Speaker of the House): "Can we have order in the House of Commons please, Thank You. It appears that this discussion on Cannabis Legalization in New Canada has gone nowhere, this matter should be put on indefinite hold until we find a better solution to the problem."
(Clapping)

This is UCBC News The National, here is Dale Mansbridge.

"Good evening, Yesterday a RCN Patrol encountered a joint training exercise between the ships of both ROD and the KDF just off the coast of Vancouver Island, this event sparked fears among the Canadian Armed Forces of the possibility of Karma-naskis employing ROD style tactics, which could pose a future threat to the southern end of Vancouver island, which includes British Columbia's capital of Victoria and the major RCN base at Esquimualt."

"In Victoria BC Today, (Shows Demonstrators shouting "Maple Leaf not Marijuana Leaf".), A small gathering of demonstrators wearing gas masks marched at the Karma-naskis consulate building in BCs capital, demanding that Karma-naskis end the production of the plant substance Marijuana, due to the poor air quality that the city has experienced in recent years, and effects from the pot smoke are present in the population, such effects according to Health Canada include, Impaired Judgment, Hallucinations, Euphoria, Nausea and Vomiting, anyone traveling to Victoria must wear some form of breathing apparatus to protect themselves from exposure to the pot smoke."

A couple of CE-18 Growlers out of storage and in the air, their EW equipment should prove instrumental in this fight.

Any Infantry and Armored regiments stationed in the Atlantic provinces are near the shore ready to repel the landing craft.

While another armored/ infantry group heads to Nunavut's shores to support the Canadian Rangers.

All RCN vessels are to make way out of CFB Halifax to confront the force of ships.

All civilian ships in the are have been instructed to sail to the south inside Canadian waters or inside Greenlanddom waters. Two Tico and 2 DDG have joined about 1/2 way between Greenlanddom and Canada, all remaining back at least 20 40 miles.

You are in open country. Recon out front and flanks, tanks lead your main body, infantry follows.
