The Officers of the New Canadian Armed Forces at the table looked at each other with a confused look on their faces, even the Canadian Sergeants standing at the dining halls entrance stares at each other in puzzlement over the RODs statement about their officer ranks.

(Kim Davidson): "Anyway, Yes this Mansion is a left over from Canada's colonial past, when we where still part of the British Empire yes."

(Admiral Carson): "en-enlist men as officers?"

Sergeants are NCOs. Chief petty officers are NCOs. NCO = Non Commissioned Officer. NCOs are enlisted ranks.

the ROD master chief and staff sergeant are NCOs. Non Commissioned Officers. Enlisted
ranks. Just like the Canadian sergeants are.

The ROD captain is a commissioned officer just like the Canadian admirals and generals.Officer ranks.

(Admrial Carson): "Im not to familiar with the RODs military rank system, But here in the New Canadian Military the rank system is.. a little different then what your used to."

(Kim Davidson): "Anyway, Im sure you are aware of our problems with a...certain plant, who smoke fills the air here in Victoria?"

(Lieutenant Peters): "Yes its quite a awful smell, this...Cannabis as its called, is causing quite a nuisance."

We're familiar with weed in the ROD. It hasn't been legalized there, but possession of it is not enforced. The cops only go after the big traffickers for the most part. A dude smoking joint usually isn't considered much of a threat to anyone.

I understand that you have a beef with the Karma Naskis over pot. What does that have to do with the ROD?

(Kim Davidson): "It has nothing to do with you guys, It just that we had some issues with smuggling of this drug for sometime now, since its easy to cross into New Canada from Karma."

(Admrial Carson): "The Royal Canadian Navy is also concerned over these "Stealth Corvettes" that the KDF has in their Navy, we still can't figure out how to best deal with these types of ships, we don't even know how stealth works."

Perhaps the best way to deal with them is to work with them. You guys share an island, how about if you work together. get over the pot issue and start improving relations with Karma Naskis. Start doing some joint patrols and exercises.

The crew of the Fenris would like to thank the people of Victoria for their hospitality. We had a great visit, but it is time for the battlewagon and her crew to return home. We're getting the boys loaded up and once we have full accountability of all personnel we will depart Victoria Harbor.

Well I hope you had a good time here in Victoria BC, as for New Canada working with Karma-naskis that remains to be seen, if they cease the production of Cannabis in their country then we will be in a better position to talk.

CFB Esquimult, Pacific Offices of the New Canadian Armed Forces.

(Admiral Carson): "Well... the Meeting with the ROD Officers went as well as we hoped."

(General Thornton): "Indeed, not a single problem with them at all, though im sure of the idea of having our country work with these...Reefer people, Would not benefit our military at the slightest if our troops are too doped up on Cannabis to be combat effective."

(Admiral Carson): "Yes of course, already Karmanaskis asked GDLS-NC to purchase our LAV III's as part of a "Joint Venture" with the KDF, which im glad that did not follow through, it would be embarrassing to the companies image to see such fine New Canadian made military vehicles with a Marijuana Leaf on them."

(Captain Albright): "I wonder what else that Idiot of a Karmanaskis PM would come up with next as part of his election campaign that im hearing about."

(Admiral Carson): "Im not sure but we will watch and see."

(General Thornton): "Indeed."

Ah! Sublime! The "pot" calls the kettle black!

CFB Halifax, Atlantic offices.
(Radioman): "Sir our radar and Communication systems are being Jammed sir."

(Admrial Mctaggert): "What the Devil is going on outside our border? If this was supposed to be a training excercise, why are they Jamming our radar? send a courier out to the RCN recon squadron and ask them to send out a Short Sunderland Out there to photo recon the area outside the border and report back to us when they return."

(Radioman): "Yes sir."

Parliament Hill, Ottawa
The New Canadian House of Commons meet up today to go over recent events this week
(Clapping)

(Speaker of the House): "Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs."

(Minister of Foreign Affairs): "Mr Speaker, What could the CofC possibility want to establish relations with our Country? Although we did apologized over the misunderstanding last week, their so called "Electronic Warfare" Aircraft while in a middle of a fleet exercise the CofC is conducting in Greenland, inadvertently flew near Our country's Borders and temporarily knocking out Communications and RCN Radar stations along the Atlantic Provinces. Thats not a good way to start forming relations between country's."
(Clapping)

(Speaker of the House): "Honorable Minister of Defence."

(Minister of Defence): "Mr Speaker, The CofC should have been more careful where they are conducted their Training exercises, especially more so given the fact that our country's military did not participate in said fleet exercise to began with, so why did they get our country involved in that exercise without notice?"
(Clapping)

(Speaker of the House): "Honorable Premier of British Columbia"

(Premier of British Columbia): "Mr Speaker, last week the ROD visited BC's Capital of Victoria, they said that the best way of dealing with Karmanaskis is to and i quote "work with them, due a joint military exercise with them".
(Booing).

(Speaker of the House): "Can we have order in the House of Commons please."

(Minister of Defence): "The ROD wants us to work with Karmanaskis and do joint exercises with the KDF? absolutely Preposterous, No self respecting individual from the New Canadian Armed Forces would ever work with these...Reefer People, Besides they hardly have much of Military anyway."
(Laughing.)

(Speaker of the House): "Can we have order here please Thank You."
(Clapping.)

GDLS-NC London Ontario Plant.

Here at our advanced facility in London Ontario, our engineers and technicians are hard at work converting the hulls of the failed M1128 Mobile Gun Systems, into the TOW Under Armor Variant of the LAV III Combat Vehicle, used by the New Canadian Armed Forces.
Future plans for the Company are to Upgrade the LAV III fleet into the LAV VI Vehicles to better enhance the survivability of these vehicles and to bring the New Canadian Army into the 21st Century.
