The Special Forces units will go ahead as planned, as Asymmetrical warfare will still be here.

Now lets move on to a more pressing matter at home, Illegally raised Militia groups have been popping up in the country, they must be shut down before they can do real damage.

Those groups appear to be people that are Social Activist. One is a debate group by name. They are patriotic Canadians. Some are anti-establishment types, many are veterans.

NCAF HQ Ottawa. Special Forces Office
Knock on the door
(General Livingston): "Come"

The New Canadian NCOs that returned from the RODs Recondo school enters in.

(General Livingston): "Ah finally you guys arrived, so how was the ROD school."

(NCO 1): "It was a tough school for sure, but we brought back the info the school mostly does small squad movements and squad leadership training."

(General Livingston): "That was It? what about all that fancy stuff these Special Forces do?"

(NCO 1): "We did not make it that far, apparently it takes about a year to get a full SF squad ready."

(General Livingston) "A YEAR??, Good God, I promised the NCAF to get SF units operational soon, we better get started quickly, get to copying the training and tactics of these 3 units, US Army Rangers, US Navy SEALs, and the British SAS."

If Livingston retires, who will replace him in this newly formed SF branch of the NCAF?

Whoever Prime Minister Tru wants.
When Gnl Liv didn’t have a complete grasp of the SF time frame, lack of confidence.
Actually, didn’t have a clue. But Canada might keep him, who knows.

Canada might want to have a bunch of parades on New Year’s Day. Positive, cheering spectators, flags waving, patriotic, Bands, candy distribution, civic groups, floats, etc.

There will be parades on New years but the NCAF will not be participating in these parades. the RCMP will be out in force to stop any terror attacks.

Vancouver Naval Base
The facility is also used by Canadian Coast Guard. Normal boats docking at the marinas A bunch of men get out of several yachts in group of 2 or 3, young, fit, go to a lunch on the dock or into a restaurant. Two hours later wearing bulky clothes under a rain coat even though it is overcast its not raining move toward the naval facility. As night falls early in winter, people leave the base, others arrive. The parking lot is relatively empty with many away for holiday.
. An hour later, a 4 door sedan arrives at the gate, 2 security in the guardhouse. As he walks to the driver the window is down, he sees a M-16 aimed at him by guy laying low in the back seat, the drive motions with his hand to move forward. He is to call the other guard, he does... he come out. The 3 in the car all have a weapon. The 2 passengers get out, walk in with the two navy Coast Guard security men. They are handcuffed hands and feet, one in the restroom, the other in a closet. The car drives to the command office. Waits for 2 minutes, a work van pulls up parks 5 spots away two get out wearing over coat. Every minute 2 get out they advance around the building. 3 more vans drive up enter and park towards barracks for the ships, patrol boats and cutters.
. Men carrying M-4 under overcoat. A yacht pulled out of marina a few minutes ago motors into the area of the base, docks two men approach to offer assistance thinking they meant to dock in marina. Two guys get out to secure the boat as guy on flying bridge speaks to them, Quickly the two base personnel are alarmed. Two other boats enter moving more quicly.... Guns drawn on the two. A few guys in the upstairs of the barrack observe and yell. 14 men get off the boat, secure the two navy guys with zip ties. The two boats dock, men exit run toward barracks. One yells from upstairs window to ", stop" as shot enters above him in the window. He opens fire hitting two about 10 yards away running toward door, both die. 3 return fire to the Canadian rifleman killing him. A quick gun fight takes place. 5 attackers die quickly, 2 more die within an hour, 5 others are wounded. 4 other Canadians die 2 wounded, 23 captured in the barracks.
. The command, communication and operations center is attacked by guys from the vans, no fire is exchanged as it happened too quickly, securing 8 men and 2 women. The garage & covered mooring area is secured with including those working there. The helicopter pads and center are secured. the 7 helicopter crew are secured, moved to barracks with other prisoners. The Sea King and the UH-60 left there.
. The attacker are wearing same camo as the Canadian fatiques, patches are for militia unit. The people that came in by boat wearing same navy work clothes with different patches on shoulders. The attacking crew take the cutter with the 76mm up front out and north along with the '88 (88 ft long) with its 57mm. Go north, then west just north of Vancouver Isle, and then south. 180 men got on board these two. 58 men go on the other three boat, an Oscar Patrol/training boat, they did install the M2 .50cal m.g. They head southwest around the New Canada portion of Vancouver Island, then north. 4 yachts motored out when gun fire was heard from the base. 10 minutes later, several explosions took place in the maintenance area for the ships and boats, destroyed one in dry dock, ruined & burned all communication equipment in command, communications & operations rooms. The armory was destroyed. Four navy and 7 coast guard men were wounded in the destruction.

(Coast Guard crewman): " It, it happened so fa fast, a bunch of people dro drove in to the base armed with C7 rifles, and started to shoot us up, they they had a Militia patch on them, I I cannot tell who these guys are, they, they stole a Hamilton class cutter and couple of Orca patrol boats."

(RCN Officer): "Where did these 'Militiamen' go?"

(Coast Guard Crewman): "I, I dont know, maybe to Karmanaskis I guess."

(RCN Officer): "Thank you crewman."

(Admiral McKenna): "These Milita are becoming more like Terrorists now."

(RCN Officer): "My God, we got to notify, the NCAF HQ, we must find and be rid of these Militia groups, before they strike again."

After news announcements of the attack on the Canadian Navy/Coast Guard Base. Men in the bars heard about this. Got riled up.
Several went to their cars, trucks and SUVs, drove down to the docks, bringing black bags, some soft and some hard case. Looking for a boat. A few went down to the marina next to the naval base. People were gathered around one particular group of two boats. They were not locked, M-4 magazine on the deck. They tired up blocking some other boats in, the guys that got off were quick to move along a few eyewitnesses said. When police ran the registration tag one, it was realized it was stolen. The other one is not registered in Canada. Checking the boats out, fuel, etc. The several guys gathered up. Discussion. they took command of the two yachts. Load up, call a few friends that show up within an hour. By 12:30 am, thirty guys have gathered, they look at their guns, ammo, food & water.
"We gong to K-blood, this wont stand."
"Let get some."
.
A submarine was in the harbor just outside the military-patrol base, it was small. When a few lights were searching the water surface it submerged, moving out into the channel then north close to the rocky seabed. "That is one of those Swedish built subs, I am Navy reserve. K-country has those."
Another asked, what about the US?
"No, they have bigger, longer subs, Los Angeles, Seawolf, Virginia Classes, all Nuk powered for endurance. Not for in close to the shore. Small crew, like 35 people, a lot less expensive vs. the US subs." Wonder if I will be called up...."

CFB Esquimult
2 Halifax class Frigates slipped out of the harbor, and plotted an intercept course to stop the stolen vessels carrying the militia groups before they enter Karmanaskis, a couple of CP-140 Auroras took off from Esquimults air field to search for the boats.

Vancouver Isle
1 boat, the 88 went into port on northwest of Vancouver Isle.
The smaller yachts went by CFB Esquimult base about 45 minutes prior to the Halifax Frigates departed. They went into a small port about 3 miles north of the Karmanaskis-New Canadian border.

High over Vancouver Island near the border.

A CP-140 aurora flew over a small port and found the stolen yachts, they radioed in the coordinates of the Militia groups location to the Halifax frigates, and to 4 Supermarine Seafires that was out on a training flight to intercept the Milita group.
