42 have submitted paperwork and funds for their 'Flag' rank. 30 new generals and 12 Admirals. Checks cashed. All accepted. Hooray!
Some of then have earned great respect in their positions prior to the acquisition of their new ranks. More are expected to submit.

CFB Greenwood
There has been a major accident at the base CF-14 #2 from No 404 squadron has crashed following a routine training flight, this is the same CF-14 that took part in the Fighter Rodeo at the RODs Vulture field a couple of days ago, cause of the crash is unknown, but unfortunately both crew where killed.
The RCAF after hearing word of this CF-14 crash has suggested that we should retire and replace these old jets from active service as these are nearing 50 years old and replacement parts are hard to find. Applications will be sent out to find a new multi-role jet to replace the CF-14.

The NCAF has unfortunately decided to Cancel their Special Forces program in order to divert funding to Health Canada to help fight the Spread of COVID-19, a replacement NCAF program will be established next month, that will focus only on building relations and earning the trust with local peoples in war torn countries during a NCAF operation.
The name of the program will be announced late this month.
All service members that where chosen for the now defunct Special Forces regiments will be reassigned to work with Health Canada with testing people for the virus.

The NCAF announced the Name of this new organization to replace the Canceled Special Forces Program, It will be called the NCAF Public Relations Regiment, this unit will be tasked to travel ahead of a NCAF Force unarmed and unmarked in a war torn area, to engage in conversations with the local populations in order to build trust, exchange information and hopefully be able to assist one another during a operation.

Forming a PR unit out of guys that like, enjoy the rough & tumble operations. Those people are wired differently. The guy that loves training, tough physical operations then you put him in an office where they must wear a tie, be ready with dress whites.... great allocation of resources to where they are utilized to their comparative advantage.

Well these guys are not given solider training as their job is to negotiate with the locals in a war torn country. for the benefit to the NCAF during any operation. the actual soldiers that where taking part in the former Special Forces program has been returned to their regular army regiments. this PR regiment serves as a replacement for that program.

The ROD Embassy there has been fully rebuilt and ready hopefully for eventual return of the ROD Embassy Workers and there ambassador once relations can be strengthened.
Meanwhile in Ottawa the NCAF is looking into forming their own Amphibious Warfare Unit and Marine Regiments after hearing news of the ROD and RPNW joining their Marine units into the CAWC (Combined Amphibious Warfare Center), But that will have to wait until COVID-19 passes. For now its just on the drawing board, the main question is what Vehicles could we find and use for this kind of Warfare?

Onboard the HMCS Canada bound for Yer Bouti
in the Briefing room the Commander of this NCAF task force goes over the situation.
(NCAF Commander): "As we know, the CofC in the West Sahara and Morocco has made some aggressive moves along and inside the Yer Bouti border, our mission here is to protect the Hospital Ship Fredrick Banting as she enters Yer Bouti Waters to provide Medical Aid to the Locals there, who are suffering from COVID-19, and to keep West Sahara out of Yer Bouti, we believe that the CofC in West Sahara and Morocco may use Yer Bouti's medical crisis to their advantage of gaining territory, but since our Ground Forces will be days behind, we will send someone into the country in order to broker a deal of cooperation and interoperability with the Yer Bouti Defence Forces if they are still around and are active. once a deal is made the combined YBDF/NCAF forces will set up defensive positions near the capital and the border with West Sahara in order to discourage any aggressive moves by both nations. Aircraft from both ours and Yer Bouti will patrol the skies over the border for any enemy aircraft and ships. Remember where on a mission of Mercy here So keep any fighting out into open ground and away from Populated Areas, if they enter into one, refrain from using artillery, and explosive weapons should be keeped down to just AT weapons like Carl Gustav's and TOWs in case if they send armored vehicles, have the infantry regiment, split up into fireteams and hide inside buildings This is something that the ROD had tried to teach us before but we never did put it into practice, now its time to do it we will reach the country in at least a week or 2, so study up in your FM 7-8 about small squad tactics, dismissed."
(NCAF Sergeant): "Wait sir, the ROD has an embassy there, but I doubt they would come to help us since... they kinda ran out of patience with our military."
(NCAF Commander): "True, but we are slowly adopting their tactics, maybe they will rethink about us upon the conclusion of our mission here in Yer Bouti, we got to prove to them that we are a reliable military force, so we cannot make any more mistakes like what happened in Suez, get me."
(NCAF Sergeant): "Yes sir."

Since the ROD won't allow our military into the Combined Amphibious Warfare Center (CAWC), the NCAF is looking into other Marine Training facilities that might accept them like the USMC base in California or the British Royal Marines in the UK. Second issue is finding Amphibious Vehicles, We know that our Leapord 2s can travel underwater using a Snorkel, maybe they could work in a Beach landing environment? Will perform tests at Vancouver this Summer to see if this is feasible.
