After several month of negotiations, between the Republic of Dalmatian (ROD) and the Republic of the Pacific North West (RPNW), saw the opening of the Combined Amphibious Warfare Center (CAWC).

The training facility is located in Saint Catherine, ROD. The opening of this facility and training center marks a historic moment in which these two nations joined together to develop closer ties between their respective military organizations and stability to this region of the Pacific Ocean. Recent photographs show a company of RPNW M60A3s assembled at the beginning of the first joint training exercise.

Once the morning briefing was complete, RPWN M60s quickly linked up with AAVP-7As and began moving into position.

Operations continued for the better part of the day and included combat resupply of armored units on the move.

Operations were not limited to armored formation. The RPWN worked with ROD artillery crews to increase the effectiveness of their gunnery skills.

This training cycle will last approximately two weeks and will include several companies from each nation. RPNW Marine Commandant, General James Holovich, believes this is a big step in cooperation between these two nations.
â€œI am looking to the future with promise that our two nations can forge a joint task force that can meet the challenges of an ever changing landscape. The combination of both the ROD and RPNW organizations, increases the ability of each nation to address immediate crisis that we see facing the world todayâ€œ He said.
At the conclusion of this training cycle, both nations will for an expeditionary force that will be begin Joint operations with both RPNW and ROD Forces.

The NCAF Is keeping a close eye on this Organization as where planning on forming our own Amphibious Warfare Unit as well but our budget is a bit tight at the moment.

The first hurtle for our AW unit is...What equipment should we get?

Why is New Canada concerned with a training program on an island hundreds of miles away. If the training command site was in RPNW on the border of New Canada, that might be an issue to concern yourself with.

We are not concerned as the ROD is still our ally. We are just learning the ropes of modern warfare. If the ROD will allow the NCAF to participate in this, then we can start working on our Marine Regiments.

The ROD has run out of patience with the NCAF. New Canada is not welcome in the CAWC.

So "we're" on our own..... it might be the body of work similar to the 3 people that shared the Nobel Prize in Financial Economics in 1990 on Modern Portfolio Theory. The body of work that spanned about 40 years.

At the CAWC training area, ROD Marines are still moving vehicles and equipment from the motor pools down to the docks to be loaded aboard ship. Interestingly, some of the ROD Marine equipment has been repainted with the new NATO Green color and some has not. Here is a battery of M198 howitzers headed for the ships in the old darker green camouflage.

This morning six ships left the ROD on a historic mission. 1st MEU is the first Marine Expeditionary Unit to deploy with both ROD and RPNW troops. The mission is scheduled to be a 3+ month deployment around the Pacific, but the mission is subject to change based on world events.

The MEU departed Saint Catherine Bay this morning aboard three ships: LST-24 (RODS Patroclus), LHD-28 (RODS Perseus), and LSD-31 (RODS Menelaus). ROD troops include a battalion H&S company, a rifle company, and a weapons company from the RODâ€™s 2nd Marine Regiment; an M198 battery, an AAV platoon, and a reconnaissance company. RPNW troops include a rifle company, a tank company, a light armored reconnaissance company, an anti-tank platoon, and an AAV platoon. Aircraft aboard the Perseus include a CH-46E squadron (12 aircraft), an AV-8B squadron (12 aircraft), and a light attack detachment (4 AH-1Z and 2 UH-1Y).

Once at the sea the MEU was joined by their escort of two Spruance class destroyers: DDG-106 (RODS Stiletto) and DDG-113 (RODS Rifle). The Los Angeles class attack submarine SSN-19 (RODS Hammerhead) was also present, though as always, the Navy will neither confirm nor deny that the submarine (or any other submarines) is part of the MEU escort. A Sacramento class support ship (AOE-92, RODS Bison) will rendezvous with the MEU at predetermined times and locations for resupply.

The MEU s currently headed west across the Pacific.

I'm curious how you intend to counter the A2/AD problem that faces modern Navy/Marine forces operating in the Pacific?

The MEU isn't that big, but we have a pretty strong Navy to back them up. We have a trip to the Spratly Islands on the schedule in a week or 2 I think. We intend to challenge the A2/AD situation in several hot spots.

Do you have any AEGIS equipped ships or 5th generation fighters to cover them with?

I believe the ROD does have those AEGIS ship but they are in the Atlantic, with the other battlegroups, as for fighters they have mostly F-18s, F-4s, and F-16s.

Would ROD carriers have F-16 on them? The NC is keeping a close eye on ROD and itâ€™s navy and perhaps Air Force.
