Since I have a couple cold war choices here are some.

Generic infantry with berets and FNs. Ideally these would be a 50:50 mix of berets and bush hats. I was painting some four decade old H&R Brit Paras the other day. I was giving them khaki pants and three colour Denison Smocks. As I was doing this I had the Wild Geese playing on the 'puter. Looking up I realized I was bang on those troopers except the old minis had helmets. Suffice to say with this kit and Brens this group would be very flexible. Want MAGs, just remove the magazines and mount a second prone figure. Have each team of two prone figures as the Bren would benefit from a loader anyways. Be useful anywhere around the world but especially Africa in the '60s to '80s.

Generic Infantry with AKs, bush hats and bare heads 50:50 mix. As above could be used for many troops around the world same time period.

Some of the above could be done with existing minis (various mfgs) and head swaps but I would never want to try that! Irregular makes similar but hard to discern details and they base them in their multi figure groups which for my purposes makes them awkward.

I've previously mentioned mine in the 2019 requests, but some I'd like to see...

Iran:
Zulfiqar 3 - basically an Iranian M1A1 Abrams!
Tosan light tank: A vehicle that is smaller than a Scorpion tank but has different weapons variants, might be hard to do due to lack of solid photos.

North Korea:
Upgraded NK tank turrets with ATGM/SAM/ Automatic Grenade Launcher mods
"M-2018" self-propelled turreted howitzer (the modern looking 152mm gun)
Chuche-Po 130mm self-propelled turreted howitzer
"M-2018" anti-tank wheeled vehicle with "not-SPIKE" ATGM launcher
"M-2010" six-wheeled APC
"KN-09" 300mm MLRS
"M1991" 220mm MLRS

Brazil:
EE-3 Light recon vehicle
EE-1 Osorio (Although more a "what if" tank, it would be a nice addition!)
ASTROS MLRS system

South Korea:
K-9 Thunder artillery
K30 Biho Anti-Aircraft
K-136 MLRS
K-239 MLRS

China:
Type 59 baseline (yes, there are differences to the T-55/-54)
Type 62 light tank and Type 62G upgrade (different to the Type 63 that already exists)

Type 07 mobile 35mm AA tank
PLZ-07 122mm mobile SPG
PLZ-05 155mm mobile SPG
PCL-09 truck mounted SPG

As many others have suggested, some more "Bush War" infantry with bush hats and carrying some FALs/ Vektor R4's/ G3 rifles, maybe the odd RPG or LAW, and some FN MAG machine guns/ mortars would be useful, especially if they could blend in with the currently provided "Third World Regulars" well.

3rd World Regulars carrying different primary weapons like AKMs for example, keep the rest of the line the same.

Some soldiers that could be a more professional "resistance" group would be nice, i.e Kurdish Peshmerga fighters/ Free Libyan army professionals etc.

A GDF-005 35mm anti-aircraft gun would be a great addition to the third-world list, and also fill a niche in many different European armies.

I'm 100% for more Chinese AND North Korean ultra-modern kit. Particularly with the recent (i.e 2018) North Korean military parades showing considerable upgrades to NK equipment. The recent Chinese parade also showed a LOT of extra equipment currently not covered.

A final, more "wishlist" kind of element would be YUGOSLAVIAN equipment.

How about be a little more specific on combat command reintroduction. How about bringing combat command for different units. The selection was too limited. I would have bought some, in the past, but I was not looking to build a tank or mechanized company. I wanted a Calvary troop. I think if they just put the combat command in a blank box, they could fill it with what ever they wanted and add the TO&E for the unit inside. Little more work 9n there behalf to get the units figured out. Or they could even have you submit your TO&E to build a customized combat command.

I note that in the list dated April 22, 2020, there is one vote for Cold War/Vietnam USA A-4 Skyhawk. GHQ already produces an A-4F Skyhawk (AC128). I can't find the original vote, but I think that the person had in mind an early-model Skyhawk (without the electronics hump between the cockpit and the vertical stabilizer. Designations for this design would include A4D-1 (later A-4A), A4D-2(later A-4B), A4D-2N (later A-4C) and A4D-5 (later A-4E).

I've amended the A4 with a note saying 'Early - no hump' unless Intruder523 objects.

redleg voted for the re-introduction of Combat Command under 'new range'. Lots of people haven't entered a vote under the new range category.so there are plenty of opportunities for people to add a vote here. It should be mentioned that the Combat Command packs for large items like LCACs are still there - it's the unit packs that went, allegedly because people weren't buying them.

I think ghq missed the boat. Instead of thinking that the combat commands needed more variety, they decided to just cancel them. I think they just needed to offer different types of combat commands. Just one guys opinion.

So what exactly is the big draw of the combat command? Other than something unique like the LCAC, which remains available and that I think is a worthy addition to the product line, I don't see what was really lost? If there's something I'm missing, I'm all ears!
