Well I figured that we attack the town from three directions.

My Battalion will attack the Left side of the town

Your ROD Battalion will attack the centre.

and the CofC Battalion will attack the right side of the town.

We either need maps or greater detail.

We may need a Map redleg so we know where our battalions should be setup.

Redleg, I propose that we move as we are for now, you on the right of roadway for the advance, CoC on the left. Perhaps 5km From target we will have more specific zones/areas of control.
. I do not like the phrase to attack from 3 different directions. I was thinking attack from just the south, in 3 zones but from one direction.
.
Let me know.
I have not heard from my left flank. The Leopard 2 are there. No feedback.

Sounds good to me! Here is a refined template of PAC Locations. The infantry are occupying built up areas, fortifying streets and strong points. There are 2 tank companies of 15 tanks each in Haqlaniyah and a battery of D30 howitzers on the north-west outskirts.

Here is a sample of what we can do to control the attack. Red boxes to designate zones in the city. Zone boundaries should be roads or other terrain features that are easily recognizable on the ground. As the units clear a zone, they report to Brigade HQ so that we can rack the progress and we can direct action easier. Black line can be a boundary between units. Again, terrain or roads that troops on the ground can see and recognize. In this case, an attack from the south with 2 battalions abreast, clearing the city zone by zone.

Maybe we could split up those zones among the three Battalions so things can look a little more organized.

It looks like you are using the major road through the center of your area as a boundary. This represents a seam which your enemy might exploit. That road should be assigned to a specific unit within an axis of advance or defensive position. That unit then has complete responsibility for it and thus, there is no confusion about who is going to do what.

Very good point, PG! And there you go, Mech. If you want 3 battalions to attack on line use the main road as an axis of attack.

Well, that settles it all Battalions will use Hwy 19 approaching the town as the axis of attack.

So, it’s settled? A new plan, up Hwy 19 for the attack.
Thought we were to attack from the south.
What about Al Harlaniyah, just south of Haglaniyah. Predator on recon detected some moving into Al Harlaniyah.
I am waiting for orders, instructions.

A peaceful the highway is NOT an axis of advance.

CoC battalion commander is and has been calling the NCAF general of the Multinational BDE. We are not getting a response. Waiting on orders, coherent orders.
We have let CoC HQ Monacodom know. They will decide if the CoC will remain as a member of the BDE.
CoC battalion commander is informing ROD of a decision when we hear of it.

Will move out to the south end of Al Harlaniyah to deal with the PAC. Following the RODs plans as described earlier.
