Pete's Place
Hi Cav Dog
Thanks for the heads up on the decals. The ones on your landing craft do look very nice and your water effects look really good.
I have the new German crosses from I-94. When I get around to doing my West Germans I will give those a try. If they don't work I will try your supplier.

Here are some more pictures of a couple of my StuG IIIGs. These are the late version that GHQ makes. I finished these last year finally after they sat around mounted on nails for a few years.

Thanks very much, Redleg! I do actually drill out the ends of my larger caliber gun barrels and have been doing it for years. I guess it is my thing.
I will typically do gun barrels as small as 50mm as on my Panzer IIIs but won't bother with some others that are below that.

Pete's Place
I just saw the new 2020-2021 GHQ list for the coming year. Overall, I am very happy with several items I have requested that are on the list. These include the Canopus and Otranto which I have wanted for Coronel and The Falklands. Also included are a couple new Shermans including an M4A1 with M34A1 turret with applique armor. There is also a Russian T-34/76 1940 for when I get around to Barbarossa. Very nice GHQ.
Well then, before seeing this list, I started working on my own M4A1 Shermans for my Americans in Normandy and beyond. I have 3 packs of these but with the much more rare turret with commanders cupola. When GHQ came out with the early M4A3s with M34A1 turret with both applique and bulged versions I was very happy. I ordered some extra turrets of each to convert these to the more common variety.
I have 5 M4A1s in progress right now. Some will get applique and some will be bulged. Here are some WIP pictures.

Hi Chris - Thanks very much. I have a ways to go still but progress is being made. I will try to finish a couple M4A1s with M34A1 turrets soon. That way those that are interested can preview what US118 is likely to look like.
Hi Panzergator and thank you. Those are not my actual hands and finger but stunt hands for the dangerous work of holding these little gems by GHQ mounted on the heads of finishing nails. LOL!

Ok- officially the Stug’s are my favorites out of your work. As I run out of adjectives to describe what I see I can only say impressive and stunning... you have a real gift a Pete, thanks again for sharing.

Thanks very much, Burt! I really appreciate it.
Here are some Marder IIs which I finished last year. They still need to be crewed. I will do that part one of these days.

Here are a few pictures of a Modern Lithuania game we played at my friend, Scott's, house back in 2017. The terrain is my Terrain Maker and the minis belong to Scott. This was the first scenario of a campaign pitting the Russians against Lithuania and her NATO allies.

I'm sorry if a couple pictures are a bit fuzzy but I now have a much better camera phone plus a bit more experience taking and adjusting pictures.
