Re: Show us yer stuff!
Redleg,
I used a flat piece of sculpey and a drawing. I shrank the drawing until it was at the right scale, glued it on the sculpy as a template, and cut, then filed smooth and painted.
The tail booms are a lot thicker than they should be in "true scale". There are limits to what I can do!

Just some stuff I have been working on recently, in between testing out Chris' contrast color paint schemes, Waco gliders, parachutes for my airborne landing with some caught in trees, some gliders (I painted about
, and smoke markers ... admittedly if those Stugs made it in to the drop zone then there are serious, serious problems...

I love those burning markers. I want to make some myself but that's waaaaay down the list of priorities. I've seen tutorials on 6mm Wargaming but I'm wondering how you made yours.

Look at you BurtWolf!
Well done! Love it! Board is coming along nicely too! Gliders and the StuGs look great. You can never have too many cool markers on a table!
Bravo.

Hi Gripen, sorry I missed this.
The launcher started as a spare part from a 1/350 ship model (Chinese C802 ?).
I had to square them up a bit and cut down from a 3 box to a 2 box set up.
I made a small mold by using a hot glue gun to cover the original. Not fantastic but good enough to make a few extras with 2 part epoxy resin.
A few small bits of plastic card and half a small Lego brick for the cab shelter.
They are still in the paint line up.

Hold up, Mick - ship model pieces, card stock, hot glue gun mold and some legos? That's some serious MacGyver modeling! I'm very impressed!

Yes I did have a good deal on these minis BurtWolf, it was $50 for this haul, the actual total for the lot would have been $600. The Lady who I bought this from said that there could be more of them, as her late husband is into making Dioramas.
