Rio De Janeiro Brazil
With Help from New Canada, a new Operations centre is being setup in Rio based on the NCs C&C system, which will help coordinate the local militaries in South America (except Argentina, and Venezuela), in a effort to counteract the influence of the EE backed Latin Alliance, and to combat any Mercs that the EE may have employed in the area. The NC Army will not be deployed unless the situation calls for it.

New Canada, Brazil, and Chile are alarmed by the appearance of a large group of Eurasian Empire Submarines in Argentina today. This signifies that the EE are up to something in South America, and we want to know what they are doing.

Front line officers program.
The NC Army, seeing the faults with the new C&C program, regarding the complete removal of the officers corps from the frontlines, a new program is established to produce a new generation of Commissioned Officers that are capable of leading the troops from the front. involving the new officer going through the same basic training as the regular infantry. these New officers, will follow principles laid out by famous people like George S Patton, and Hannibal.

The EE subs in Argentina, you want to know what they are doing? Send some ships out, frigates and destroyers along with ASW aircraft. Have them investigate and evaluate. Probably patrolling and gathering intel.

Which principles from Patton and Hannibal are you teaching your officer corps?

Patton was know for his rather aggressive strategies that he employed in WW2.

And Hannibal was known for his ability to come up with plans based on the enemy’s weaknesses and strengths.

The Brazilian navy will send out the FRAM Gearing class destoryer Marcílio Dias, to investage the EE subs in Argentina. they had planned to send up some ASW Aircraft, but unfortunately their current aircraft don't have the range to reach Argentina. The destoryer will have to rely on the Scan Eagle UAV they have onboard to just monitor the subs.

Wow??!! Not sure FRAM Gearing DD will be very effective against the EE submarines. Might be okay depending upon age of the subs. Do this FRAM DDs have the 10 SM-1 missiles around the ship on the deck?

No just its 8 round ASROC launcher midships. Though the ship is only there just to monitor the EE Subs activates in Argentina, not take part in actual combat. She will report back to us when the destoryer returns to Brazil.

If those EE subs travel up to Brazil, only then the Brazilian navy will send out a large force.

I know I will regret this, but....... How does a UAV track a sub?
Quantity has a Quality all its own.

The Scan Eagle will be able to track the subs when they are surfaced. Unfortunately the drone cannot track them once the subs start to submerge, so it just a matter of luck in part of the destoryers crew to catch at least one of those subs surfacing on camera.

Montevideo Uruguay.
The Brazilian destoryer Marcílio Dias, has arrived near Montevideo Uruguay to began prep work to launch the Scan Eagle UAV that will fly over to Argentina to attempt to track the EE subs that they believe to be in this area, should things get dangerous the Guided missile frigates ROU Montevideo, and ROU General Artigas. will be on stand by. 2 Uruguayan S-2 trackers will also be in the air to provide ASW support.

The Brazilian warships are very careful to stay out of Uruguayan and Argentinian waters. Argentine aircraft have investigated the ships, and they are keeping tabs on them, but there has been no contact. No contact with any Imperial submarines at this point either.

Off the coast of Montevideo.
Onboard the Marcilio Dias, The Scan Eagle UAV has been launched. And it’s proceeding to fly over Argentine waters to locate the EE submarines. The crews of the Brazilian and Uruguayan ships are keeping their eyes open for Argentine Aircraft. once the Scan Eagle returns they Brazilian ship will head back to port.

So the Brazilians are going to violate Argentine sovereignty to look for submarines that are not breaking any international laws, treaties, or protocols? You can play this out on your own, but I can tell you that there are no Imperial submarines in Argentine waters.
