I'm not sure how that makes me feel Red, lol.

Well, I tried and failed.

The 10mm stuff is too small to get a low enough angle far enough away to get everything into focus, and I have zero idea how to photo layer. If I get the camera any closer to the dead soldiers, they aren't even fuzz, they just aren't visible, and I think they only reason I know what they are in the picture, is because I know what they are. Maybe if they weren't based already like the limber, they'd stand out more. The angle could have been correct, but once I realized it wasn't going to happen, and I was running low on camera battery, I didn't care that much. it was worth a shot. The limber would have had to have been painted a different color to get it to match the photo, and I'm not going to custom paint my armies just so I can make custom photos. I have another Civil War painting I'm going to try this with, its of battle lines, so that should work better. But anyway, I still got a quaint picture of Dunker Church out of it.

I might try and black and white some of my Micronauts and see if I can recreate some famous WWII naval photos.

I love the black and white photos Bill! You definitely need to do the ships too!

Really excellent work on both buildings, Bill! I recognize the Dunkard Church. Is the other one you posted one of GHQ's downloadable paper buildings. It looks really nice as well.

Thanks Polish, thanks Pete. Yeah, that's one of the paper buildings, I printed out a bunch a long time ago and built some. When GHQ sent the email the other day with the challenge to build it, I posted it done minutes later, lol.

Try two on recreating photos, I'm getting there, the colors of the sea and the sky are reversed, but I think that's due to the materials I'm using and the colors, not much I can do about that unless I go buy new stuff.

I'm nowhere close to being ready to make investments in stuff for photography, its not that serious, lol.

Great looking destroyer Bill! How often do you get the whole fleet out for maneuvers / wars / photos?

Thanks Red. Not very often, a lot of my ships got to the museum when I finish them, but I am relearning the Micronauts rules so I’m going start playing again soon, maybe some destroyer on destroyer action to start easy.

In the current issue of Wargames Soldiers & Strategy there is an article about gaming the Battle off Samar, and has a picture of a model of a CVE, I had just finished Kitkun Bay. So I sent a few pictures to the editor and he wrote back saying he’d wished he’d had the pictures for the article, rats! My Gettysburg Evergreen Cemetery gatehouse is in this months issue though.

Finished the last stand of Rebs, that completes Lewis Armistead's brigade, Picketts division of Longstreets corps, Army of Northern Virginia. This brigade represents roughly 1,500 men.

I kinda wasn't feeling these from the time I started painting them, I don't really feel like I gave them my best effort. Should have just slapped some grey on them and moved on.

I think those Germans look really good, I had a smear smudge on the tire painting which is truly a skill! Really good work in my Opinion!
